In addition isnt there a conflict with a gas station, because of the proximity of the creek there? Wern't they considering that where the car wash is now?

Why would that be a consideration? The water doesn't run into the creek.

I think they have conveniently forgotten what to do with it, along with the unfinished parks and the unlandscaped medians throughout town.

i.e. the median along Iron Point in front of Intel. How many years has that gone unfinished. Easily the biggest tax payer and revenue generating business in the city doesn't even get their street landscaped. Shame on you Folsom!
