I was there yesterday, but they were just getting people to work, I think.
The Grand Opening is Friday (tomorrow).
I will be there...

I was at the new Fry's today during lunch and YES they are open today.... one of the sales folks said that there will be "special" grand opening pricing on almost everything they sell tomorrow. On a side note, wear comfortable shoes because that place is HUGE!!!

If leaving Folsom, go north on Folsom-Auburn road, turn left on Douglas and go to Sunrise, turn right there and go about a block or two and you will see it on your left.
Kind of looks like a train station..... SALE starts at 8:00 AM

I will be there soon. It's much better in the product selections than any other stores. I am surprise that it took Fry's this long to have another store in Sac region.

They have one in West Sac.. it's far though and Fry's prices just haven't been worth it lately.

Employees. Riding around. On Segways.
Got a 18x DVD-RW drive, 50 - 15 In-store rebate - 20 Mail-in rebate
Targus Wireless Optical Rechargeable mouse, 30 - 5 In-store rebate - 10 Mail-in rebate
Some random Icewind Dale II game, based on the Baldurs Gate engine, so I'm like, sure, for 10 bucks.
Parking is harsh, spent a few minute in the lot.

I picked up some BluRay discs at $10/each there today. Absolutely packed with people, but they had 60 registers open, I was out in no time.

One of my co-workers bought a 52-inch plasma from there yesterday for $1300... quite the deal.
