My aunt and grandma went to the one over on Sunrise. They said that certain things in the buffet was good, but they used imitation crab and scallops in some of their seafood dishes. They also said it was weird to see pizza with Chinese food.

You can also order off of a menu, but my aunt said why pay 6~7 dollars for one dish when you can pay close to $10 for all you want to eat.

They said it was good, not the best, not the worst. Just good.

Thank you for your response. We each have our own prefrences.

I have never seen an elaborate quality Asian food as Eastern Max Buffet for $7.95 until a few days ago.
Amazing variety/quality food concept! Amazing low price!.
Eastern Max Buffet would be very successful in Folsom (Hwy 50 & East Bidwell) and/or any cities in the US.

Great Service (a perfect 5), GREAT Ambiance (a perfect 5) and GREAT Food (a perfect 5).

No wonder I saw familiar faces in Mizu. Now I know why. I was never impressed sad.gif Asian Seafood Buffet and never with Mizu. Just one thing, in Mizu I asked couple of sushi chefs if they can make me a specific sushi and their answer was no (note they were not busy at the time I asked them). I asked Eastern Max Buffet the same question and they prepared the sushi and delivered to my table with the smile. biggrin.gif Eastern Max Buffet has better customer service. I hope they will provide the same service and keep their prices reasonable. I also would like to see Eastern Max Buffet here in Folsom. I hope they will consider that.

China Buffet and Eastern Max are owned by totally separate people. Don't confuse China Buffet with Eastern Max. Eastern Max is awesome...great food, great ambiance, great prices...awesome smoothies! I've never been to China Buffet so I can't comment about them.

Seems like they're now ripping out concrete out front (sidewalks?). I wonder what's going on.

This place has got to have the record for longest non-opening in history. What was wrong with the sidewalks? I saw the concrete crusher out there today as well. There have been several restaurants there and the sidewalks seemed fine for them. I do't get it.
