A tawdry taxi encounter has Avila Beach residents talking.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies arrested 27-year-old Cody Williams for trying to have sex with a taxi cab in Avila Beach Saturday night.

Deputies say he was under the influence of alcohol when he took off his clothes, jumped on several cars near 1st Street, and then simulated sex on the windshield of the taxi.

The driver was still inside.

People who work nearby say they are still in shock.

"I was told that there was a guy in the parking lot jumping on all the cars. They had to apparently take him, but just a lot of unexpected behavior," said Stella Garcia who works nearby.

Williams was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for vandalism, indecent exposure and committing a lewd act.

I'll have to check with SO when he gets back from his trip tonight, and see if he knows him. There was another guy who was just arrested for robbing several local businesses that he grew up with (Jackson Elementary, Marina Middle School, and Oak Ridge).

read the article, he got intimate with the windshield.

They didn't say what he had been drinking, but I think it must have been more than just alcohol that he was under the influence of.
