We don't need your name and address, but it would help to know what area, what time, how they got in, if anyone was home, if anyone was hurt, if anyone was caught, if anything was taken.
Although we should all be diligent in protecting ourselves and our properties, we'd like more info than 'Our home was broken into and we live South'.

Thanks for your concern. I just wanted neighbors to be on alert.
Specific-jewelry (some family hand me downs, irreplaceable) and ipod
broke glass for entry.

Thank for the info especially since we live on the same street..just not the same block. So sorry that this happened to you. I'm assuming that no one was home or hurt, so that is good news. Looking at the time of the incident, it seems pretty bold to break someone's front window on a Saturday afternoon!!!
