Not all of those locations stayed closed. For example:
Mooney's has opened in place of Bailie's.
There's a Mexican place replacing Sakura Sushi.
There's an Indian (?) place that replaced Good Fellas, or maybe it was Xpress Gourmet?
Madeira's replaced the fish and chip place.
Heart of Europe relocated.
Early Toast replaced Grandmother's
T2 Yuan also replaced somebody.
Sudwerk's replaced Cliff House.
Other's
Burton's BBQ (in Folsom Hotel)
Ernie's of Tahoe
Waffle Barn (House, Garage?, whatever that place over by Red Robin is called)
Acorn Cafe
In and Out Burger
Also not a complete list. It'd be interesting to see if the openings are keeping up with the closings. I don't mean to minimize the impact of a restaurant closing--it's awful for all those involved. But it does show that there are a lot of folks willing to give the Folsom restaurant biz a go. And there's a lot of folks eating at those restaurants.

T2 Yuan---I may be wrong, but I think these guys are on loose ground right now.
We went to eat there, they were out of 3 dishes-we requested and they were out of tea.
Bizarre.
Out of Tea?
Ah-well.
Still good food, though.

Sign of the times. I was in Raleys yesterday and ordered a sandwich at the Deli Counter. They didnt have the bread to make it. Instead of trying to figure out what other bread I wanted, I ordered my second favorite sandwich. Didnt have the meat to make that one.
There I stood in a store full of breads and meats, and they're out of them.
She finally gave up and went over to the prepackaged deli meat section and pulled out a package of prosciutto, which was the meat they were out of. It also had some mortadella and salami in it. Put the whole thing on my sandwich. On my way out the door, I stopped by that section. The package of meat was $8.99. My sandwich was 4.99.

Been to T2 Yan several times over the past month and they've been great as always, still really enjoy that place and hope they survive.

This place used to be great food, great service. Not in the last few months.
Has China Buffet closed? Or was DarkLefty commenting that it had opened?
