I'd like to compile a list of known businesses that will let you get free WiFi while you are there. Here's a start...

It's a Grind
The Little Gym
Sacramento Airport

... any others? Public areas count too.

Manderes has it for free

Interestingly I've found that nearly every restaurant and business in Folsom has wifi (I see it with my iPhone) but not very many offer it for customers to use.

^ I know... you'd think they'd realize they can offer a reason for people to come in and maybe you know... buy something!

Am here at Folsom Chevy, they have Wi-fi but it does not have a working connection to the internet. Thus I am connected to another dealers wi-fi that barley reaches but does work!

Perhaps you should change the criteria to have wi-fi and it actually works!

I know its not a business, but the Folsom Public Library has free wi-fi, and you can access it from outside (including the gazebo, I'm told)
I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

Add Bidwell Street Bistro to the list of restaurants having free wifi (verified last night)

...I gotta ask though... how many people actually need to surf the web while out having a very nice dinner at a fine restaurant?

I will surf and check my emails at Manderes while having a beer or lunch, but at a nice restaurant like BSB, I'll be damned if I'm gonna distract myself from my beautiful wife and our wonderful meal while we're fine dining.

I don't need to check my emails that often and I pity anyone who does.

(plus truth be told....my wife would kill me heheh - but seriously, I would think that any gal would be infuriated if her date busted out a gadget and started suring the net at a fine dining establishment)
