If it's a female, maybe she's in heat. In which case, having her spade would take care of the problem nicely and reduce the number of unwanted kittens!

My vet said that young female cats are usually in heat or pregnant most of the time. My 7 month old cat went into heat and we had her fixed right away. I remember her sounds to this day. It was so surreal and so annoying.

We had a very similar experience years ago with an abandoned kitten we had found. We did not know her exact age, and therefore, were surprised when she went into heat.......As benning said, the sounds such a cat makes are not easily forgotten!

fantomu: I hope you are not seriously considering killing the cat. Call animal control if the cat continues to be a problem.

Cats are very hearty animals - if they have claws they can survive on lots of things - mice, birds, dog food, cat food in other's yards...

cat owners need to be more responsible. This cat has been outside for far too long, I say trap it and have animal control come pick it up. They won't come unless it is inside some type of container. The bottom line is if the owner was responsible and cared for the cat it would be indoors and fixed. So in the meantime do what you have to do. Trap that annoying cat and call animal control. That will fix all of our problems.

I agree. It's the right and lawful thing to do.

Interesting as when I was living in San Jose, we noticed a severe drop in loose cats after a number of ethnic groups moved into the area.
I even had a vietnamese friend that admitted catching them for dinner. He Said the supply hardly ever runs out.

You want that with Sauce ?

If you think that cat is annoying, you ought to hear what he says about YOU.....it's also a name that begins with "a"......
