Scary stuff people. Good thing the girl flagged down a passing motorist and avoided being put in this guy's van.

I know this guy, sort of.
He's a member and dance instructor at Broadstone. Hopefully they fire him. I've always thought he was a creep. Seemed to go thru several mail order type brides, etc.

Very creepy. Thank goodness she got help from that nice person. I think there might be an error in the title of the news clip. It says she was on the way to school, but school is out right now. Doesn't really matter, I guess. Something is seriously wrong with anyone that would follow and scare a child like that.

Is St. John's on break right now?
I knew him from Broadstone, too, and didn't like the vibe he was giving off. I can't imagine that they would keep him on staff.
That girl responded in a great way - she went to a populated area and looked for help. Glad this ended the way it did.
St. John's is in school through Thursday. The story did not suggest she was walking to/from school, although, as is often the case with the local news, they didn't bother to even say what time of day it occurred. I don't recognize any of the names (although the guy sure looked familiar), so I don't think it was a SJNDS student.

I read on another page that she was a SJ student.

The posts on FB's Folsom Watch are pretty interesting, too. Apparently he has two kids of his own, so perhaps MyFolsom folks should consider the content of their posts, since they probably have access to some of the more derogatory comments being made about their own "father." (Just a thought).

on the news last night there is a report he told a friend he was "just honking at a pretty girl." nice one, dad.

For some reason this comes to mind:

I would shoot him if I caught that bastard harassing my daughter - it would be worth some jail time to put that scumbag 6 feet under so he can't bother any other girls.

"Harassing" is a very broad term. Might need to have more info before going vigilantly.

Sooo quick to judge. Think I would want all the facts before I went about destroying a man's reputation or going vigilantly.

Maybe not in this case....Now FOX40 has learned that back in 1997, the 58-year-old was convicted of annoying or molesting a child in Santa Clara county as well as sexual battery.

I can't open that link right now. Not just accused, but convicted? Does the story give a color and make/model of the van for future reference since he's out and about again? Hope that's not too vigilante for everyone. It might be helpful for parents to let their teenage daughters know.
