Would any of you be able to recommend a roofing company that will do repairs? Someone you have actually had a good experience with... I've already had a bad experience, so that's covered.

Anyone else having their edge tiles falling off their roof, from the nails rotting in the Kentfield section of Broadstone ? Ours are dropping off on oneside and some are getting ready too on the front. Dangerous if your standing underneath them

Hopefully you'll have better luck with Norcal than I have. I got the recommendation here for that company and twice now no one has returned my call. So if anyone else has another recommendation, please post it here. We don't have an issue with tiles falling off (egads, I'd be calling the builder!), but would like to put more attic exhaust vents in and we are looking for a company to do that and repair the roof tiles around it. Thanks.

I haven't had luck with Nor Cal Roofing either. They did return my cal about 2 weeks ago but didn't follow through with coming over and checking out the damage. Does anyone have know of a better roofing Co. ? Winter will be here before we know it and I need to have this repaired. Thanks

They re-roofed our home back in April (just after the massive rain we had) and were so good about keeping me updated on when they would be able to come out (because of the weather they couldn't start for several weeks and I had a daycare at the time and needed to keep the parents informed). David Atteberry is the owner and Claire is his wife. She was so great. Give them a try. :-)

One of our corner tiles fell off a couple of days ago. My daughter and I were so glad we weren't standing in the area at the time! Our friends recommended George Frank from Classic Roofscapes. (709-9122) He came out and looked at the tile area and a couple of dry rot spots and will give us an estimate on Monday. Nice guy. Good luck to you!

Just wanted to throw in my hat for the Roof Doctors (916-721-6130). They've worked on many shake roofs for me and have a sister company they work with to replace older roofs. I think they do tile but most of the homes I've sold w/tile roofs were under 10years old so we were able to go back to the builder and have them take care of the damage. There is a company in EDH, Lakehills I think, that I just dealt with and when I asked for him to tune up the roof prior to issuing a roof certificate he simply stated that IF the roof leaked he would come out and fix it. My home inspector even took pictures to show him how much work was needed and he blew us off and wanted to charge the seller $500 for a certificate. Needless to say I wasn't impressed.

I did talk to Claire @ Cameron Park Roofing and she does seem nice but they still haven't come over to the house to inspect the roof. Never did her back from Classic Roofscapes. I guess these Companies just don't need the business So far I've tried 5 different roofing companys and haven't seen one of them in person.

AND WE HAVE BEEN CALLING ROOF COMPANYS SINCE JULY NO ONE ELSE HAS BEEN OVER TO THE HOUSE OR RETURNED A CALL EXCEPT NOR CAL HAS PHONED US TWICE BUT NEVER SHOWED UP He was here at the time he set and is very profesional. I found him , by doing a internet search. His name is DAVE PORTER
