DrKoz23, you can think what ever you want to. Gloria and I had a very nice and polite conversation. Nothing at all like you are trying to make it sound like.

Go KERRI.....

Yes, I strongly urge all of you to call the candidates, email them (us), or talk to them in person. Please be informed when you cast your vote. If you are not informed on an issue or a candidate, don't just vote to fill the number of positions that are indicated on the ballot.

As much as I would like to resond to Robert's comments, I sent him an email the other day, telling him I would never again respond to him on a blog. I have known him for a long time. He knows my phone numbers and home address. He responded that he was too busy to respond to me. I am sure that had nothing to do with the fact that he was too busy at the time preparing a ridiculous, erroneous and probably slanderous letter to the Telegraph about me, and yet he still has time to bash me here, but still no time for a response to my email. Keep that in mind when you are reading a bunch of fluff from someone who does not have the intestinal fortitude to even respond to a private email.

EDF - thanks for the communication earlier this week! Just for the record, there was no slate 8 years ago. Me, Cyndi and Steve were all endorsed by the same people. There was no slate. Cyndi and I were commisserating, but Steve was not part of the group and me and Cyndi had no communciation between supporters. Though I must admit, that campaign, and the following four years on the Council together have made Cyndi and I life long friends. We talk or email every week or so. She is now living on the East Coast -which is where I am from (ok, DC and Boston are not real close, but closer than Folsom and either Boston or DC) She was just back to visit for our birthdays, visit her Mom, say Hi to friends and endorse my campaign.

Thanks again to all who posted here, for or against - VOTE on Nov 7

Kerri

To all of you who are voting for me, THANKS, I will work hard for all of us.

Kerri,

My endorsement post should answer most of your questions in the private email you sent me on 10-24 about 1:00pm. As you acknowledged, I did send you a response back saying I was busy and would get back to you. You know the deadline for articles in the Telegraph are supposed to be turned in by Friday the week before, so you know very well that on Tuesday afternoon on the 24th, I wasn't writting the letter to the editor as you claim it was already turned in.

Your comments that you make at council meetings are on tape, your voting record is a public record and the things you post here are all available for people to review. If you are unhappy that I am reminding people of the things you said, voted on or posted about, then you should have thought about that before you did those things.

Calling me names and trying to discredit me is NOT going to change the things you have said, your voting record or postings you have made!

I see where you said you will not respond to my posts....but you never answered my questions anyway, except to cast aspersions onto my motives for asking. Its very similiar to what John Dolittle is doing in Placer County!

Many people have expressed support for my letter to the editor including some staff at the city hall, they all agreed it was past time somebody said what needed to be said!

I said all along I was seeking the truth and the truth is you and your divisive politics and your consistent misleading the public needs to go!

Here is our endorsement (Folsom Telegraph - Folsom Life)

Supporting Kerri Howell for Folsom City Council.

My wife and I are giving our full support to incumbent Kerri Howell in her run for re-election to
Folsom City Council.
Howell SHOULD be re-elected. She is a dedicated and tireless public servant to the city, and
the residents of Folsom.
Anyone who follows the Folsom City Council’s bi-weekly meetings will be aware that Howell is not
afraid to be the dissenting vote when decisions are being made for the city, and citizens of this
fair town. Her dissention is not just to be contrary. It is due to the fact that she has done her
homework on the issue in hand, and votes accordingly!
Her comments and suggestions lead to better decisions by the entire council.
Howell has been very involved in the Sphere of Influence (land south of Hwy50), and is acutely
aware of the challenges facing the city as this land is developed in the future. Her career as a
civil engineer will only be an added bonus at that time. Kerri Howell is a straightforward and
honest council member who fights hard for her constituents and the quality of life here in Folsom.
She appears to have her finger on the pulse of most of the residents, and is prompt in responding
to e-mails regarding the concerns of residents. Our own personal experience in this regard is that
she is often the only City Council member who does respond.
Folsom needs Kerri Howell to be re-elected.
So…… vote Kerri Howell!!

Since I truly believe the most important outcome of this election is that Kerri NOT be returned to the council and since Michael has been committed to running, had support and endorsements, the only thing I could do was sit out.

You don't have to agree with me, but please accept I'm doing what I truly believe is right.

So what YOU are hoping for is this new kid with no experience and really nothing to say except that his biggest endorsement is that he and Miklos are very good friends and their wives are good friends as well, should be voted in to represent Folsom at a time when there are many crutial issues on the table that will affect all us residents and businesses ? SO in effect- his endorsements are 'anyone but Kerri' and since no one else threw their hat in - this guy gets those endorsements ???? RIght ?"

How could even consider that notion when Kerri is experienced , concerned about the future of Folsom and has shown to be quite effective in gettting the rest of the council to rethink and reshape ideas to the benefit of all of us... You have dissed her on many levels and topics but choose not to acknowledge what many feel- that she is effective in her dissent and very good for Folsom as a whole in her position on the council...

I think this is very near sighted of you to replace a bull dog with a puppy dog.. ( no offense meant to the candidates with usage of dog)

Even you yourself cant come up with any REAL reasons for the residents of Folsom to Vote for Gordon.. and his answers in the questionaire on this forum and our meeting him at the other social certainly do not give a warm fuzzy..

Cheers

Who really cares about an endorsement made by someone who is actually participating in one of the candidates campaigns.

Apparently Robert does as his candidate of Choice is Gordon-- with no more to go on than Gordon entered the race and was endorsed by the other boys... He even admits he know next to nothing about Gordon...

Would you vote in a candidate based on that ? I sure would not !

Robert can endorse whomever he wants. It will have no bearing whatsoever on my choices. Its his choice... but I don't think he is working for Michael's campaign (directly).

I vote for who I think will take this city in the right direction... not what someone else wants me to vote.

Hey! He promised my husband and I a helicopter! He's got my vote.

(Very much kidding. I did enjoy speaking with Mr. Gordon at the meet-up, but the conversation was light. He seemed like a nice guy, but we did not discuss issues at all. Based on the questionairre responses here on My Folsom, and the discussions that have cropped up this week, I doubt I will be voting for him. We'll see, after I have a chance to do further research.)

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Some people say on this forum that Gordon is riding the coat tail of Miklos to get on the Council.

You may not no that others rode the coat tail of Cindy Dow to get on the Council.

Some are asking what experience Gordon has, most people don't have City Council experience when they are first elected!

If you want the manipulation to continue, keep the council members we have.

Yes... you are very original... using my argument against myself. Don't you think it is childish to complain over the number of words in a letter to the editor. You thought it was so important that you would take likely more than an hour to go down to the Telegraph to complain.

It reminds me of things I hear kids say...

"Mommy... Johnnie got more ice cream than me... I want more ice cream. You can't let Johnnie have more than me! Wa Wa!"

or adults...

"Gloria... Ernie got more words than me... I want more words. You can't let Ernie have more words than me! Wa Wa!"

The thing about it is, a rule is a rule. They broke it. Black and White, or whatever other colors you want to put in there. He had two and tried to put in three just because of who he is. Again that is not right. I did not write a reply to either of them. I wanted to but did not.
