I don't begrudged teams for scheduling a patsy for an easy win. I don't think we should look down an Appalachain State for scheduling Michigan.

Ever been to a Badger game? Either football, basketball or, especially, hockey? They are great games. Lots of fan interaction, the UW Band rocks (most the 77k stadium stays for the "5th Quarter" to see the band) and it's a blast. DrKoz knows what I'm talking about.

The best thing? Unlike Michigan, we still love our team when they don't win. It's this thing called loyalty. Unconditional love.

Nope, nice try. During the lean years (which there were many), they couldn't GIVE AWAY tickets. Oh, sure, now there are fair-weather, bandwagon Wisconsin groupies here and there, but just wait until they start losing again (which will be alot sooner than you think). That stadium will resemble a ghost-town again.

Were you there during the lean years? Because I was and I went to football and hockey games all the time. It's true that it's much more difficult to get tickets now because all the non-students buy the tickets. They do not sell any single game tickets, they are all season tickets. But the students stood behind their team during the lean years. We went to the game conceling kegs and stayed for the 5th Quarter. I'm as big of a fan now as I was back in the early 80s. Well, perhaps a bigger fan in ways since I don't live there anymore or take it for granted.

No! He grabbed my boob at a pre-Outback Bowl tailgate (Then it was the Hall of Fame Bowl). Perv. I just got what his family (real family) calls the "half-Thompson" since he just reached around for one. Apparently he does this enough that his family have coined his gropings as the half- and full-Thompson.

Oh, no doubt. You HAD to drink to watch them play then. You went for the beer, and occasionally watched some "football". And that's how I'm gonna approach Michigan games this year...until Carr is fired/kidnapped/killed. OK, that's harsh, but that guy's gotta go....by any means possible.
