Mmmmm... Chris Daughtry....
Ya know.. it's a great thing he got voted off when he did...however shocking it was... and I've heard him say this. Otherwise he wouldn't be doing HIS thing with HIS band... he'd be tied to AI under contract.

You know, I really must concur. She was SMOKING on Tuesday. Her legs just did not stop.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

If you didn't see the show, but have heard Sanjaya, you should still find it pretty funny.

The person who went home, I expected.
As for Sanjaya, enough folks love him, and enough want to screw the system, that it's keeping him around.

I thought Chris would go, too. My husband finds Sanjaya very amusing now. He just thinks that he doesn't care and is just simply having as much fun as possible. I agree.

Sanjaya is just so so so bad. So bad. I agree with Simon. There's nothing they can say at this point. It doesn't matter when things like the VFTW website and Howard Stern are driving his votes. It doesn't matter what the judges say.
I knew Chris would be going home, and probably deservedly. His performances have been shaky, but I was still sad. He's the most intelligent and witty of those left. Well, was. He's gone now. I enjoyed his personality the most. It's not going to be as fun to watch now.

I couldn't stand him. He tried to hard to be something that he wasn't, an Artist.
1st he completely butchered a Diana Ross classic with some odd Coldplay rendition, then he tries to pull off The Police?? Really?
Gross. Good riddance Curly Joe!!

'Idol' stakes are high if Sanjaya wins
By Edna Gundersen, USA TODAY
The question tantalizes and terrorizes American Idol viewers: What if Sanjaya wins?
The toothy teen with the big hair — crafted into a fauxhawk Tuesday night — and minimal voice sailed into the top 10 last week, ensuring a spot on this summer's Idol tour. If he skates through tonight's elimination round (Fox, 9 ET/PT), the fuss over his confounding staying power is bound to intensify.
In the short run, his presence makes for spirited debate, but if Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is standing in the winner's circle, "it would destroy credibility the show's built up in the past five seasons," music consultant Tom Vickers says. "Instead of 30 million viewers a week, it might draw 20 million."
A Sanjaya victory "will ruin the show," says fan Catherine Schloss of Folsom, Calif. "If he wins, I really don't think American Idol will be back."

Bottom 3... Alien (Phil)... Rocker Chick (Gina)... Legs (Haley).
Time to go... Alien. The mother ship is calling.
