These are the same bikes... not copies, the exact same bike. It is a bolt on hardtail and no matter what you say.... it is a bobber/ratbike.

Sweet bikes posted. Very nice.

Malibu_Adam, why did you sell the CBR and now want a cafe bike? The CBR seems alot more usable of a bike for everyday riding. Dont get me wrong these cafe bikes are very nice but not something I would want to put alot of miles on. I am sure I will get flamed by Chris for that statement but ohhh well.

I am going to stay out of the bobber/cafe debates. I know nothing about those bikes.

you shouldn't get flamed for that - I agree with what you wrote.

Those are nice bikes for short rides and looking good, but not for every day rides and long rides.

I have an 07 Yamaha R6 for the track and zipping around fast! LOL... this is a different type of bike. It's a piece of history to me.. In comparison to cars... its like having a 2007 Dodge Caliber, or a 1969 1/2 Dodge Superbee with a six pack! =) (If i already have a 2005 Dodge Neon and can get either a 2007 Caliber or 69 1/2 Superbee... im all for the Superbee!)

PS.. i would ride that sucker till my butt fell off.. even then, id probably just stick a pillow in my pants! LOL

I understand. I wasnt trying to insult the cafe bikes at all. I didnt knwo oyu had a R6, I just was thinking that if I could have one bike, I would want something a bit more diverse. I agree with the part of history. I like vintage stuff. I used to collect and restore classic bicycles.

sweet ride, I love the color. It even looks fast sitting still. My buddy just bought an 09 GSXR-600. I would love it if he let me ride it. He bought it as a second bike to his BMW touring bike. He is going to turn the geexer into a pure track bike with race slicks.

sweet pics Chris. What track was that at?I am guessing its not one of the major tracks since your lights arent taped up. I would love to take the beemer out to the track. Pop the side cases off and open it up with no worry of cars or road condition. I am always a little conservative on the street because of the unknown and potential hazzards. I would love to just rip on the throttle and see what the bike can do, and well what I can do as well. I have a feeling my sport touring tires will give out before I run out of lean angle and that parts scares me a bit.

It's the go cart track at Prairie City... it's very tight and technical. Lots of fun though. They open it up to motards and minis once a month.

Darn, I guess that leaves my beemer out. Do they really limit the type of bike? I would be willing to bet the RT is more than nimble enough to have some real fun on that track. I have been there and seen the track. I would love to have a go at it. Is there any speed limit? I know to really seems like a stupid question since its a track but just curious.

Yes, they really do limit the size of the bike. My DRZ, being one of the heavier bikes out there felt a little to big for that track... I would think your RT would not be to fun out there... it's really, realy tight.
