I can't wait to hear how my friend likes T2Yan ( she has not been yet). While I agree the service is lacking the food more than makes up for it.

you took the words right outta my mind, I was just going to write the very same thing...

I like T2 Yan, it's my favorite Chinese restaurant in town

After a friend of mine went on and on about Sunny Garden I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say I was really dissapointed. The flavors were muddy and I was really underwhelmed overall. I can't wait to hear how my friend likes T2Yan ( she has not been yet). While I agree the service is lacking the food more than makes up for it ( especially if you do take out).

I do like the folks at Sunny Garden, too. I've 3 very good dishes there: a thai style basil chicken, a fish dish and an eggplant dish. I liked 'em all.

I think that T2 is suffering with this economy. I think the guy who was there is a new partner in the place. Anyway, I went there late one night, and he was alone. He had to greet and seat customers, take orders, go back to the kitchen and cook, serve, handle the register and bus the tables. He was hustling. He told me that Tu was on his way to help out after closing their other location in Galt. Tough biz.

I really do love T2yan, fast ,friendly and very good food. When the weather turns cold and dreary, I love their soul warming soups..... warming from the inside out ! I also am aware that the business is on a website of restaurants for sale. It is stated that the owner is focusing his attention on his other location in Galt, I believe. I am in great hopes that this location can survive the economic and overcrowded food ventures we have available to us fortunate folks.

the food at T2yan is excellent! If you haven't tried it, you should before it is too late.

It is our favorite as well. I'd be very sad to see them go. I think I'll see if my hubby wants takeout tomorrow for dinner.
