Here is their change/feedback page:

We work locally, so you can drive globally. No one knows your neighborhood like you do. That’s why we’ve created Map Insight, our consumer map feedback and change reporting system. By leveraging user perspectives, our data will become even fresher and more valuable to consumers, developers, and enterprises alike.
A few thousand floods of the correct name of a new road and they might actually update it

You are so wrong.
You sure you are brittish?
You sure seem like an American ---uh, slightly anarchist---to me!!!

OK, thanks,
maybe I should complain to teleatlas then about them removing dirt roads from their maps. 2 summers ago, I could google map and had a route down to my favorite campspot.
This summer, I tried to do the same thing and it no longer showed the dirt road, so I could only do the route to the spot I'm pretty sure where the dirt road leaves the National Forest service road.
And heck, checking just now, they've removed the NFS road as well.
WTF are they doing?

It's probably all part of the Forest Service's plan to shut down motorized access to the Forest, even on existing roads! The El Dorado National Forest recently permanently shut down over 1,000 miles of existing dirt roads and trails. They've also issued an order prohibiting travel on dirt roads throughout the Winter and into the Spring.

I had sincerely hoped that Rosemary was elected to the Council - we would have had a shot to rename the bridge after Johnny (that and a list of other reasons that I wanted her to get elected, but, alas, that did not happen). With regard to being fiesty though, Cyndi Dow (former Council Member) and I have a long fascination with "The Wizard of Oz", mostly with the witches. Remember Glenda's line in the movie when she met Dorothy, "Are you a good witch or a bad witch"? To which Dorothy replied, "Why I am not a witch at all"? Before the Council meetings, Cyndi and I would ask the same question - as it turned out, more often than not, she was the good witch and I was the bad witch, for obvious reasons! Cyndi's birthday is the day after mine. A few years ago, after she moved away, I sent her a Wizard of Oz lunchbox - which she sometimes used as a purse. Well, this year for my birthday, friends from Folsom got me a sign that says "Don't make me release the flying monkees" (you will recall they were the monkees that guarded the wicked witch's castle). They made me promise to bring it to a Council meeting. The same people then surprised me at Christmas with a key chain. The key chain has a tape of six quotes from the wicked witch, in her voice. Again, they made me promise to play the sayings during a Council meeting. It has been sitting in front of me during the meetings, I am waiting for just the right moment. Stay tuned to upcoming Council meetings..................
Options include "How about a little fire, Scarecrow"
"Leaving my little party so soon? I wouldn't hear of it"
"I can cause accidents too!"
"I'll get you yet, my pretty, and your little dog too"
The sound of the evil laugh.
"I'm melting................."
"How bout something with a little poison in it"
and, last, but not least
Oh de oh, de oh do (the song sung by the flying monkees while they marched around the castle)
Now imagine me doing the evil laugh, as I sign off - and trust me, I do a pretty good imitation of the wicked witch!
Ah, ha ha ha ha ha ha

Well, Kerri, as I recall, the wicked witch always wore black!!! Can we hope that you might be willing to be part of our silent protest and wear black to the bridge opening??

Silent protest? Silent isn't Kerri's style.
Kerri, loved the Wizard of Oz story. I liked Cyndi Dow when she was on the council. She was another one that was willing to listen to the residents.

If you're still looking to honor Cash, he never wore one.
