Call it a "hunch". Learned that from Scooby Doo reruns. Damn them kids were good at cracking cases.

That's because they were "meddling". But the question remains:

Zoinks.... or Jinkies?

I think "jinkies" were the acid tablets they had stockpiled in the Mystery Machine.

Heh - okay, I'm way off topic, but they made some Scooby Doo cartoon movies a few years ago that wisely didn't have Scrappy in them. My kids got into them. Anyway, there was one called "Zombie Island" or something and it was cool because the ghosts and monsters really *were* ghosts and monsters and not some dude in a suit. But there was one scene where Fred grabbed a zombie and said something like "now it's time to see who the *real* zombie is" and tried to pull his mask off, but instead proceeded to rip the zombie's head clean off.

My kids thought I was crazy when I started laughing my *ss off when he did that.

ps: I did think it was funny that Scrappy doo was the villian in the Scooby Doo movie.

pps: Yes, I'm an adult.

Welcome to your culture, folks, where 16 year old girls dress like absolute whores and --according to a student with experience at FHS --offer sexual favors for better grades, masturbate in the backs of classrooms and flash teachers.

If indeed this is the situation at FHS, why aren't these girls suspended?!

And even if all this is happening at the school, it would never be a legitimate explanation or justification for the misbehavior of a teacher or staff member. Faculty and staff are supposed to be trusted authority figures who should be able to discern between the right way and the wrong way to behave toward students.

They won't be suspended because of indulgent blind parents who would become enraged at school officials for holding their daughter accountable for their bad behavior. There is a huge double standard at play here. Case in point, recently at FHS a girl was bending over revealing a bare back, giant tattoo and a flashy thong practically rising up to the middle of her back. A female teacher walked by and did a double take - rather disgusted by what she saw - and exclaimed "nice thong!" in a saracastic tone of voice. Within several hours, the girl and her parents and THEIR ATTORNEY appeared at the HS. The teacher was forced to apologize for her "rude" comments.

It seems plausible now that this teacher has been charged with "having sexual relations on multiple occasions" that this was not a case of force. Yes, he was way off base and should be fired/punished but the legal arena will not accurately or fairly deal with his mistake.

I hope this girl's parents IF this was a case of consensual sex will take the moral high road and see past their blind fury at this man and honestly asess their daughter's culpability in this situation. If he did cross this line, IMHO, he should not have to face the rest of his life with felony child molestation convictions and have to register as a sex offender. Like CV said, molestation and pedophilia is an entirely different matter than this case seems to suggest.

But this is outrageous! There IS a DRESS CODE at the high school!

Moreover, California Ed. Code states in numerous sections that students can be suspended for engaging in activities and behaviors whcih threaten a safe and orderly environment or which cause a disruption of school activities.

How do teachers teach and students pay attention if other students are allowed to come to school half naked and to engage in lewd behavior in the classroom!!?

Isn't propositioning a teacher for a better grade in exchange for sexual favors considered cheating?! Isn't cheating a suspendable behavior?

None of this excuses a teacher misbehaving in return. However, if all these things are truly happening on the FHS campus, WHY IS THE ADMINISTRATION NOT TAKING APPROPRIATE ACTION AGAINST THE STUDENTS!

Let the mommies and daddies bring their lawyers to school to defend their scantily clad daughters. If I were a litigious person, I suppose I could hire an attorney to make the claim that my son is being denied access to a safe and productive learning environment because lewd activity is going on in the classroom.

So what evidence do you think they have? Was it a one time thing or repetitive? How do they prosecute him? Is it her word against his?

Where the heck did people come up with the idea that girls offer sex for good grades, and show their tits in school all the time? Sure, girls wear provocative clothing, but nothing to suggest a nipple showing here or there. Who thought up that garbage?

I mean, if that was really happening, boys would actually be GOING to high school.

PS: If you think FHS is bad, wait until your kid goes to college....
