Gina should have stayed, Sanjaya should have gone but I guess that's another story. Phil or Haley should have gone before Gina.
My favorite is Melinda Do-Loads this year.

Thank you. I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Although we can't take it seriously, I was seriously po'd that Gina got the boot last night.

It was rather amusing when they asked the judges if they were surprised who was picked to leave. Neither of them even mentioned Sanjiya. I guess they figure it wouldn't do any good to???? I can't figure out that Phil guy....he really can't carry a tune. Speaking of carrying a tune, how about that guy that sang in place of Tony Bennet? Was that horrible, or what?

The singer is Michael Buble. I only caught the end of the show, so didn't hear him sing. My wife is a huge fan. I've taken her to see him a couple of times. He's usually very good.

I am so sad Gina got booted. She had a lovely voice with a lot of depth to it and a great personality. She seemed like the kind of person that would be fun to know.

Michael Buble appeared to be intoxicated, or sedated, or something.

Haley seems to be getting hotter and hotter each week! If the tweens have Sanjaya, us old married guys need to help keep Haley around.

Sanjaya will get his day once the herd thins down a bit. I remember Chicken Little stuck around longer than he deserved because of his non-singing aspects. Once the votes aren't spread so thin between so many singers, the Sanjaya votes won't be enough... hopefully.

Although I would like to see the actual vote numbers to see if the Sanjaya vote is going up are staying the same. As the Sanjaya joke grows, I can see a whole bunch of people that never voted before doing so just to be a part of the joke and see how long they can keep him in.

I got the impression that he didn't take it seriously (like it was beneath him) or something. Just a feeling - no facts to back it up. Maybe that is how he always is? I have never heard of him.

Phil must have ulcers by now...I think that's the 2nd or 3rd week in a row where he's been in the bottom 3 and gets sent back to safety. Saying he was singing to his wife was a good call on his part...

I guess this is why my husband never says a word when I say how much I can't stand Haley and how I wish she'd get kicked off. rolleyes.gif She has definitely proven that she wants men to look at her that way. That dress was.......eye-catching.

There are a lot of people who love Michael Buble. I'm not sure why. Hopefully his AI performance is not indicative of his typical style. He was so cheesey and didn't really sound good.

I'd actually prefer Gina over Haley. Haley is more of a cheerleader, Kathie Lee Gifford Crosby clone, style without substance, rookie-whatever.

My hubby isn't so keen on her either though, admittedly, he likes her legs.

I'm guessing he just didn't want to sleep on the couch. tongue.gif
