as of right now Mr. Larrick is still in cusstody. Gues the multimillionaire can't afford bail! He was taken into custody at 3/7/07 at 1:40 PM with drugs and under the influence...isn't that a little early in the day? Even for a methhead?

First off good job Kyle, Im glad to see someone who hung out at that house got away.

I have watched this thread since it started. I have lived with the mess of "the mansion" for several years. No, I have never been there. Lemme explain....

My now thank god ex wife used to and I still think does hang out at roy's. For several years after we separated I would hear stories from my 8year old daughter about :the mansion". Aparently her mother would take her up there for days at a time. I heard all about the theatre, the pool, about the " dark room downstairs etc. Hearing stories like being put in the theatre for hours while yelling was going on. Yeah great stuff to hear from a little girl.

As the time went by my ex was arrested several times for things ranging from home invasion to rec stolen property, denying the whole time any meth use. Although I new better, shoot let alone the fact she looked like a tweeker. After the ex's second felony arrest, I went back to court and got full custody of my daughter. She has now been with me and my fiance 7 months full time and is doing awesome. No more bad dreams about "the bad people", no more stories about the mansion, no more visiting mommys friends at the hotels. The list goes on an on.

Whats funny is I always thought the mansion, was just some big house my ex took my daughter to go hang out at. You can imagine my surprise when I was reading the sacbee and my daughter says " Daddy, thats "THE MANSION" Click, I put 2 and 2 together. Now it makes sense. I put a call into the reporter who wrote the article, we had a long talk and confirmed allot of both of our suspicions.

My ex is now on the run because she failed to appear for her 200 days of time for the most recent felony, which whens she is caught will be her 3rd strike. Although I have no faith in the Judicial system, as they have slapped her hand sevral times. I am fairly sure she still is in the area running amuck with the same losers. Its too bad, seems like this house caused allot of grief for allot of people. Thank God I got my daughter away before she was hurt!

Well, just wanted to add my 2 cents, and support the good people of Folsom. I hope you get your neiborhood back.

Your story had me in tears. To know there could be a child locked somewhere in that house while all that went on is heart breaking. I hate Mr.Larrick evenmore than before. you really should call the police and have them give you the number for the district attorney. I think if they knew about this, they might try harder to shut it down. I am so saddened right now I can't even write anymore. If you PM me, our family would love to send something to your daughter. I am so sorry, yhis is awful. I hope with all my heart she is doing better!

Blonde, where I appricate your offer I cannot accept gifts. The biggest gift I have is my little girl. I am just happy my daughter is safe, and away from her mother. Its bittersweet because a girl needs her mom. Although there is no way in hell while she is using she will ever see her mother, especially while now being a wanted 3 time felon. I really hate the fact that "the mansion" has affected so many peoples lives negatively. The stories about some of these folks at the mansion would make your skin crawl.

I have talked to the police several times about my ex's dealings and they dont seem too worried. She and another mansion loser robbed a guy from placerville at gunpoint and did a home invasion after selling him meth and she got 60 days time served by telling the courts it was all a sexual fantasy the guy wanted to fulfill for money! I mean crap she was sapposed to either sign up for home arrest work fulough or show up to RCCC at the end of January for 210 days and she did neither. Now the sheriffs are doing nothing either. Go figure.....

It will be interesting what happens next, my only hope is the ex is still hanging out up there and is busted and sent away along with any of the other people abusing society.

I hope that your daughter bonds well with your fiancee. Just give her lots of hugs. it sounds like she really needs lots of attention. I can't imagine how scared I would be to be locked in a room while people fought otside, let alone if i was only eight. I hope they bring up child endangerment charges against mr. larrick too!

It's up to the D.A.'s office which charges are filed. An officer can arrest him based on probable cause, but it is up to the D.A. to actually file the charges. If this guy is on Probation in Sacramento County and continues to engage in behavior consistent with narcotic sales and use, you might want to consider notifying his probation officer. They are normally eager to help, and part of their job is to supervise and keep tabs on convicted felons in lieu of being sent to jail or prison.
I completly understand your frustrations. The sign of the times is the decriminalization of repeat drug offenders. Instead of lengthy jail sentences, offenders are released and asked to participate in a rehab program. For most, this is a difficult task with a very low success rate.
My hats off to the people who have managed to stay clean. You should be extremely proud of your achievement.
