No idea. I get gear & accessories from New Enough and parts from Bike Bandit.

It's awesome to see so many people getting brought into the riding fold who, but for the high price of fuel, might never have considered it. There really is nothing else like it. Also, I figure the more people we have out there on two wheels, the more aware car drivers will be of our presence.

SO TRUE! (about drivers recognizing our presence)
I don't think bike riding is any safer than riding a scooter...the women's ministry director from our church was hit by a car on her bike today and life flighted to Roseville for medical treatment. To date, she has lost an eye and they are unsure of brain damage.

Mgst...I guess with the all the money we will save on gas we can afford to get extras for our ride?! laugh.gif I bought some side bags from a person on Modern Vespa for $45 the other day. If those serve their purpose I won't need to get a top case.

I love my ride, I just wish it wasn't so hot so I could ride for pleasure. By the time it cools off it's dark and I'm not supposed to be on the road with my M1 permit.

Where is the best place to shop for women's riding gear? I have found some things I like online, but I would like to try them on for size/fit to avoid extra shipping and fees and restocking fees. I've browsed the online stores mentioned in these posts, but I want to try some jackets on before I buy. Thanks.

The Cycle Gear in Sacramento has an enormous selection. But the prices ain't cheap and the help works on commission.

You owe it to yourself to get up early on a weekend morning and take a little ride up Green Valley Road and out to Coloma. The road is easy to ride for a beginner and the smell of the trees and dry grass and the feel of the cool morning air will put you in a good mood for the rest of the day!

I thought that place closed down? Last time I was over there (several months ago), the store was cleared out and the space was vacant.

For great prices and selection, check out rockymountainatv.com. If something doesn't fit, you can exchange it on their dime.

I thought on a scooter required dress was shorts, tee shirt and flip flops (go aheads).

Actually Dave, isn't this your poodle?

I'm going to admit that I am a gear nazi at times... but for some reason all that goes out the window on my scooter. I don't know why, I can't explain the reasoning... but shorts are ok on a scooter.
