It's not a restaurant, be I noticed that Stage Nine (the shop, not the theater) has been totally emptied out and has for rent signs in the windows. What a shame. It was a neat little tourist shop, and Sutter street will suffer for its loss

I just drove around to all the raley's and bev-mo's and bought up all the Sac-squatch they had!!! Even in Natomas and roseville!

I heard that it's old - they stopped bottling 1 year ago I guess...but it tastes the same to me.

If anyone wants any of their brews, let me know ASAP and I will check with my distributor to order what is left. Send me an IM or add a post.

Stage Nine moved to the space next to the Folsom Hotel. It is still alive and well.

I know Garbeau's merged with Stage Nine; perhaps the new space has more seating!

That is the location that is closed down (the store). The theatre has not moved and is doing fine.

The theatre did not move. It is still in the same location as before. Just the store is now gone.

I like that BBQ restaurant hold-in-the-wall on the north side of the river across the street from Coffee Republic. Can't do much better than that!! Nice people too and their aunt makes the cakes!

It's called BBQ Express// very good pit smoked meats... Mike is the owner and he is a really great guy... And one Big Dude !! I think he was a lineman for the Pittsburg Steelers back in the 70's or so... His wife (Brenda) and daughter also own and operate Po Boys' BBQ in the Vics shopping center off of Oak Ave. Great food and sports bar...

we went into Po Boys once for lunch. We asked if we could sit outside and they said sure, they would be right out with a menu. there was no one else in the place except two guys sitting at the bar. we waited 15 minutes for menus. she never came back, she just talked to the guys at the bar, went back into the kitchen, came back and kept talking to the guys at the bar...we finally got the hint that they didn't want to serve us. never went back. never will.

but we will continue to go to BBQ express because its good and they are always nice to us.

aw bummer, that place made some really good food! InCahoots was a great place to have lunch at after a nice motorcycle ride, we stopped in there several times a year over the past few years.

I knew they were up for sale, but I was hoping someone would buy it...
a bbq place like that could do well here in town
