Pete, let me guess...   You were a Navy guy, thought you'd be on the ship the whole time...   Then they came up to you, told you to put on your helmet and flak vest and you suddenly found yourself in ground combat trying to keep 12 young Marines alive.....  Them in camo fatigues, you in just greens or even a navy grey helmet, they would shoot you first........!   And for a whole year of it, a whole year of hell....    Yep, I don't  know what you went through but I do know some people the same as you....     Anyway, yes, Trump avoided the war along with Clinton, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Biden, Nadler, and many others with a large "D" after their names and a large "R" after their names...........    McCain, Kerry, and Gore actually ended up there....   McCain did his job and was captured....   Gore flew around the country on a helicopter with his camera well out of harms way as the son of a Senator.....  Kerry pulled a fast one and came home after three months and abandoned his men and then went right into politics wearing his M-1955 combat jacket....   For show....    Democrats play "pretend war" I am thinking.....  Republicans do the real thing and end up captured and tortured in Hanoi or just dead.....   Anyway, I have too many relatives under those plain white gravestones in military cemeteries from Dixon to San Bruno to the SF Presidio and to the Punch Bowl in Hawaii........ Too many to care a whole lot about these fools who "served" but really did not "serve".   And by the way, I am one of them, never served, wanted to do so, but one bad and damaged eye and I was no good.....  4F'd....!   Would have loved to fly an F-4 off a carrier and tried to land it there again which is the hard part as I understand....  Regards, Chris

Today in the news, I heard that hundreds of people from Africa are crossing the border at Texas.

What should worry Americans is the fact that currently, there is a massive outbreak of Ebola in Africa.

It is said to be the worst ever seen. Attempts to control it have been slowed because of rebels threatening

health care workers and have even killed at least one in Africa.

 

The incubation period for the disease can be weeks. It's so dangerous because the infected can spread it

long before they have symptoms.

 

Are those who oppose the border wall, actually aware of how they are increasing the odds of seeing their

children die? Opiate addiction aside, toss in Ebola and think about it.
