We were not even in the door tonight, and they were yelling out the names of the sandwiches we order! I LOVE THE PICKLE!

Bummer! 5:00?!?!? I guess they are just doing lunch. Well, that bites the big one. Oh well. Guess it will save us some $$$.

Mr. Pickles is more expensive than Subway, Togos or Quiznos. You get what you pay for. The sandwiches are much better quality.
I ate there with a friend. We both ended up getting the same sandwich which had chicken breast. They thought that CHOPPING the chicken breast would make it easier to make the sandwich I guess? It ended up falling out of the sandwich while we were eating which was kind of comical...but I'd ask for a NON chopped chicken breast next time...or just opt for another sandwich. As we left...Mr. Pickle...a ridiculous human pickle waved to us. The whole experience was kind of surreal. :-)

What's up with Mr Pickle closing at 5:00?? With two big ball parks down the street, they could take advantage of it. We were hoping to grab a sandwich before my sons game the other night.

Chris and I went to Beach Hut Deli last night (ONLY because Mr. Pickle was closed already)
And we were NOT at all impressed. *shrug* It was just........ not as good as we had heard.
We will be sticking to Mr. Pickle.
Mr Pickle, PLEASE STAY OPEN A LITTLE LATER!

5pm is fine for a bank, doctor's office or the post office but for a food place that doesn't seem logical at all. What about those people coming off the lake from boating, swimming, biking, hiking the movies or wanting a few sandwiches for the music in the park earlier tonight? Oh well.

There have been many, many times we would have had Mr. Pickle if it was open later - at least 6pm, geez. I never eat lunch out that way. I can't even remember the last time we ate there.

This was an old thread but what do you all think of Mr. Pickles now at approx. 10 months in?
Just tried Mr.Pickle recently and wasn't that impressed. What am I missing? It seemed chaotic in there with the lines and people eating so they must be doing some business. The line you order at is on the right and not where you enter. The line you pay after ordering is on the left as you enter. Interesting. They charge extra if your kid wants her sandwich on a roll yet they give out free cookies? The ingredients reminded me of Beach Hut Deli but not quite the same. What should I order next time?

Mr. Pickles has excellent sandwiches. I've eaten at one in Sacramento and there is even one in Daly City. They do a good job.

I love the food. The LINE is a mess, always.

We were debating the Pickle for Lunch, but ended up at Mama Ann's across Folsom Blvd.
Quite good sammich to be had over there, for about the same price. I had a Chicken Parm and wifey had a Wise guy. Both were good.
