With so many stupid gun stories and knee jerk propaganda on the issue, I had a hard time choosing between stupid articles to link. For the love of God, will the editors put somebody on these stories that HAS A FREAKING CLUE. This is a copy and paste by Fox News from an AP story about the Newton shooting.

"A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the glove compartment of the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds."

Read more: http://www.foxnews.c...g#ixzz2OraijPfc

Let's examine this for a moment. He had a winchester shotgun in the glove compartment of a Honda Civic? Now I know those Honda engineers sure are clever, but I don't think they have managed to warp space to create a glovebox that is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. He also had two 35 round magazines of shotgun shells?!? WTF? I would certainly like to see such a device. And how the F did 2 35 round magazines fit in that glove box with a full size shotgun already in it :P

This is stupid reporting done by stupid reporters and followed by stupid editors. Use your brains people!

Just for those that have no idea why I'm ranting, there are no such things as 35 round magazines for shotguns, and while Saiga shotguns can use 10, 20 or even 30 round drum style magazines, there is no such product for a Winchester that I am aware of. There is a "universal 23 round xrail system, but it weights the front and seems like it would be very uncomfortable to hold for long. If one did exist, there is NO WAY it would fit in a Honda glove box...let alone 2.A

And a shotgun? Child, please.

More from the idiots trying to limit the rights of those beneath them. This is from the CO-SPONSOR of the bill to limit magazine capacity. She doesn't understand that they are reloadable. Even a cursory examination into them would reveal that fact. At least know what the hell you are talking about... Asshat! http://www.foxnews.c...city-magazines/

Hey AJ, I've stopped keeping track of this idiocy. It became too mind blowing that these people even made it to office.

There is a belief that as these idiot policies will continue to accumulate to the point that collectively they will be challenged at the SCOTUS level at which point they will largely become null and invalid once and for all. So idiot policies like this will make it very easy to challenge at SCOTUS.

The Dems have no idea what kind of dog they are backing into a corner. If it comes to it, I hope they are able to defend their beliefs.

The Idiot King 'scolds' lawmakers for lack of gun control support (and where else but NBC would this be prominent news). HAHAHAHA. The little baby doesn't get his way and so he has to 'scold' others. What's wrong with this picture:

1) scold connotatively suggests he's in the right when the the reality is quite the opposite; he's using the office to push a personal agenda that is not consistent with basic rights of Americans.

2) Newtown does NOT represent the opinions of America. Heck, outside of the cherry picked people 'on stage' it doesn't even represent itself.

Just like we have penalties for frivolous lawsuits, we should have penalties for frivolous laws / bills. If a law is found to be unconstitutional, poorly written, unpractical, ineffective, then the authors and those who approve the bill/law should be compulsorily removed from office. We should make impeachment a much easier process.

Well, the senate vote came and past.

Whether it was the right outcome or not, I'm a little concerned with the statements coming from positions of leadership that disagree with the outcome.

If it had gone the other way, they would have applauded the senate for voting consistent with what they say is the will of the people.

But having gone the opposite way, they instead are claiming the senate is corrupted by special interests. Surprising? No. Sad? Yes. Could this outcome not also be the will of the people?

And besides, the 2nd amendment is a right not provided but rather acknowledged. It should not be infringed even by majority vote. It's necessary to enable the occasional refreshing of the tree of liberty.

I think yesterday in the CA state legislature they put a bill up to ban lead in ammunition again. What idiots...! This is why I do not trust the left and their "reasonable" gun laws. Only guys like me and tsukiji will follow them and the criminals will not. Soon I will stop obeying the "law" as it is getting ridiculous. They want to break me financially of my second amendment rights, plain and simple. If I can not afford to shoot then they have won. Criminals do not follow the law, that is why they are criminals. No new laws will change anything. Maybe with less laws, like me and tsukiji being able to carry a weapon as we see fit, being non felons of course, will change the tide of these mass killings. No new law will change anything, trust me. The "Gun Free" zones will get you killed as the bad guys know that no good guys will be there to stop them. Think about it........! Oh, and by the way I am just waiting for the ban on "pressure cookers" to be thrust in my face in front of Raley's next month. Think that will happen.....? I think not. Chris

You can't use an AR-15 for self defense...unless you do.

El Dorado County is lucky to have a sheriff who understands the meaning and intent of the COTUS, has the intelligence and sense to anticipate efficacy of 'control' legislation and has the integrity and will to voice support for natural rights.

I applaud Sheriff D'Agostini and the people of EDC who voted him into office.

I would pay to watch this debate (Cruz vs Biden): http://washingtonexa...ustom_click=rss

If Vice President Biden really believes that the facts are on his side ... then I would think he would welcome the opportunity to talk about the sources, the causes of violent crime, who is carrying it out, and how we can do everything humanly possible to stop it.”

On a more somber note, here is a long but worthwhile read on why there can't be a rational debate on guns: http://www.iowastate...html?TNNoMobile

This was an interesting blog on the hypocrisy of the anti-gunners.

http://www.michaelzw...s-off-everybody

I especially liked the summation at the end:

~~~
First they came for the blacks, and I spoke up because it was wrong, even though I'm not black.
Then they came for the gays, and I spoke up, even though I'm not gay.
Then they came for the Muslims, and I spoke up, because it was wrong, even though I'm an atheist.
When they came for illegal aliens, I spoke up, even though I'm a legal immigrant.
Then they came for the pornographers, rebels and dissenters and their speech and flag burning, and I spoke up, because rights are not only for the establishment.
Then they came for the gun owners, and you liberal s***bags threw me under the bus, even though I'd done nothing wrong.  So when they come to put you on the train, you can f***ing choke and die.
 ~~~

NFSW. NOT FOR KIDS. GRAPHIC AND REAL VIOLENCE

This is a very real example of why law abiding people should be allowed to carry standard capacity magazines and not be limited to 10 rounds or any magazine capacity limits.

Despite what you see on TV, handgun and gunfights are not usually ended with a single shot. Note how an officer is shot multiple times even after the perp was hit.

That is a very real example of why guns should be limited to 10 rounds. If that piece of s--- drug dealer had more rounds there would be several dead police officers in that video.
