Have to say best place I liked was Pachanga's. Great atmosphere, service and food. Definitely will go again. As for pizza, it's a toss up between Chicago Fire and Classico.

Last November I had some friends over for a study session. We decided to order Chinese delivery. We did not know which places in Folsom deliver. I did a Yahoo search and the first place to come up was Lieus Chinese Restaurant
The menu is impressive. We decided to give it a try. This is what we ordered:
Po Po Tray (For Two) 9.50
(Included BBQ Ribs, Egg Rolls, Foil Wrapped Chicken,
Crabmeat Cheese Wonton, Fried Pranws and Teriayki Beef Stick.)
House Special Noodle Soup 6.95
Mu Shu Pork (with 4 Pancakes) 7.25
Honey Walnut Prawns 10.50
Sesame Chicken 7.95
House Special Chow Mein 6.95
Roasted Duck & Pineapple Fried Rice 7.50
We were told it would be 45 mins to an hour. Which is acceptable since I live near the college. It was an hour and a half before the food arrived.
With tax the total was $61.00. I gave the driver $70.00 and told him to keep the change.
The first problem was they left out the pancakes and sauce for the moo shoo pork. So I called the place to complain. I was told next time I eat there I would get free potsickers.
The food was not good. For example the meat in the soup had a funny taste to it. I called the place again. I told the lady that we were very disappointed with the food. I told her I did not plan on eating there again. I asked for refund of $7.25 for moo shoo pork. They lady tried to talk me into coming back for more food. She sounded offended that I did not like the food. I told here I just wanted my money back for moo shoo pork. She hung up on me. It was no accident!
I will not go back to Leui's. Not even for free potstickers. There are so many other choices in Folsom for Chinese food. We could have gotten a better meal at Panda Express for under $30.00.

Also, Cabos has the best Mexican food I have ever had. I don't know why everyone says it is bad. I get takeout from there about once a week.
Also, Akebono is no good. All I got was Tonkatsu (breaded pork) and that was even terrible. It was tough and gross even though they gave you a lot. They even charge a lot. I think Mikuni is better.
Also, has anybody decided whether the Roseville or Folsom Fats is better. I have only been to the Roseville one and have had no problems and the food is great. I have heard some people say that the Folsom one is better but haven't been there yet.

Ok, heres my two cents
Basically lets just say these following places I will no longer eat at:
Sol Azteca, BJs, Taiko Sushi, Mission Rigolio ( I gave each one many tries!)
I think thats it. I can leave Fats...just my personal preference. I'd rather eat at PF Changs

Gold Miner with that paste taste gravy
Islands Burgers that take 25 minutes for the whole digestive process
Qbole- overpriced and not that great.
Best that no one knows about:
The goat tacos at Veracruz Cafe, no really, better than steak or carnitas!!

Once upon a time we liked Mel's because it was the one place the kids liked and we could get out of there quick but now it takes forever to get the food and its not as good as it was either.
Will never go to Bj's or Mimi's Cafe again.
Classico is my most fav pizza but too expensive to get that often.
My fav mexican is Qbole.

We went to Gold Miner for breakfast last week and althought the food took a loooong time, it was quite good.
I agree that Roma's pizza is quite good especially the Pizza Bianca.
Worst pizza- Pizza Guys or Mountain Mike's I can't decide
Anyone been to Mama Nardi's recently? I thought they were good although greasy.

I've made the mistake of once eating at a resturant were they didn't clean up and barely lived to regret it. I won't do it again.
Come on Togo's - clean it up!

Thai Siam is good, but their portions run on the smaller side. Amarin is pretty good, and when I'm in Roseville I eat at Taste of Thai. There's a small place in Sac. on J Street and 33rd (don't remember what it's called, but their food was good too).

I disagree with Jennies. They were good when they opened, but their taste in food declined, and we got tired of being harassed (strong word, but that's how I felt with Jennie's behavior) while we were eating.
China House is good, but on Freeport in Sac there's a place called New Hong Kong Wok...BEST CHINESE EVER!!! I haven't had Chinese food like that since I was in China.
