Sad, But True

It is a generalization to say "ALL" Folsom High kids are into drugs and alcohol. . . of course, not "all" of them do this; however, a large group of them are either drinking, doing drugs or both. Promiscuity is on the rise as well - teenage girls have a blurred vision of what is appropriate to wear in public or post on myspace. I blame MTV and recording artists and poor parenting for this.
As stated in a post in the "General" discussion, it's sad that some kids have to learn the hard way to kick their addiction. I feel for the Rocklin mother who has to watch her son rot in jail for 13 years. It is such a waste of a young man's life. Now, he has to learn how to live in a world far different than what he has ever known - Prison. The only way he can survive surrounded by hardened criminals is to become one. At 18 yo, he is their prey.
I hope all parents do everything they can to keep their kids away from drugs. Sometimes it hurts to say no, and it hurts to be hated by your own child, but at least, you are giving them a chance at a better life by being on their a...s and making sure they know right from wrong and the consequences of what happens when they chose - wrong.

And we're not going into the whole "everyone does it" thing again. Because they don't. And it's ignorant to think so.

I hate low cut shirts. I'm a girl, and do NOT care to see other girls wearing low cut shirts! It's gross, at least to me, because I don't want to see that stuff at school, nor in public. You go there to learn! I've heard kids there talk about drugs, drinking stuff, ugh. Well, it's when I walk to other classes. But nonetheless I wouldn't agree that most or all students there do drugs, drink. I sure for one don't.
doesnt sound like you would know the activities of most kids at school by the sound of your little rant there.

I don't think the low cut shirts were made for other girls to look at... Unless you're just that way...

I don't think you have to be "that way" to notice other girls with low cut shirts. It's distracting and not in the girls best interest to strut around school or town with her boobs showing for all to see. It makes others perceive that girl to be promiscuous whether she is or not. First perceptions last for years in high school and your reputation is something you should treasure. The school has a dress code. Maybe the school needs to re-address their dress code policies if girls(students) are walking around school in low cut shirts.

Trust me, if they add anymore rules to the dress code, there's liable to be a riot. It's a very strict dress code. And if rules aren't followed, they're taken care of. Using an oversized bright yellow shirt that's pretty embarrassing to wear. Keeps me in dress code, for sure. I'm pretty sure that the shirts that most girls are wearing to school are not revieling enough to make them look promiscuous.

Wanna bet on that? I am friends will a billion mormon guys that go to Folsom High and they hate those low cut shirts. I'm really good friends with one guy who told me that this girls shirt was so low everytime she took a step they looked like they were going to fall out. It's not hot, its slutty. And that dress code is not that strict. Most of the teachers don't enforce it anyway. And if they do, then the girls wear sweats over their miniskirts or short shorts.

Yes, I know that is not all of FHS school population, but half the ones that donated blood.
That is sad.
There's your statistic.
Bam.
