"A gym" besides our old smelly 24Hr Fitness. Come on Golds or California Family Fitness get it together and build a gym in Folsom. |
California Fitness is building their new gym at Oak Avenue Parkway and South Lexington. Your dream has come true.
Also, I think Sandman is referring to Broadstone Raquet Club on Halidon. It's very nice also.
On the north side, there's a new gym that opened in the complex where Vic's Market is. And by the theatres, I think there's a Savvy Fitness and maybe a Curves, also.
Doesn't seem to be a shortage of gyms, just have to search for them.

24 Fitness in Folsom is feeling the heat of the competitions coming to Folsom!!!!! It's trying to improve and that's a great news for me. Sign Your hardcore fitness guru ![]() |
Yes there are plenty of gyms already. After CFF, there will be no need for more. 24Hour Fitness is not the only choice n Folsom.

Any update to this? http://www.folsom.ca...ex.asp?page=346 hasn't been updated in some time...
- an In-N-Out burger (on Iron point - and just exactly how long does it take to conduct a traffic study! - Lets go folks, I'm getting hungry)
- a nice relaxing aesthetically pleasing mall
- a Best Buy
- one really good Chinese restaurant - coming from NY we've yet to find anything better than NY's Chinatown (we too eat at China House - although there is a small place in El Dorado that's good - Fortune Garden, but still not as good as back east)
- one really good Vietnamese restaurant
- one really good Indian restaurant
- one really good Bagel place (NY style bagels)
- one really good Pizza place (NY style pizza) - There's a pizza place called, "Singa's" which serves spicy jalapeno pizza... that place was always packed, then again, may be too spicy for Folsom residents
- an Asian supermarket ie. Ranch99
- a whole foods market
- a University of California satellite campus for adult education
- a nice art gallery, museum, theater, movie, and entertainment complex
- a Barnes & Nobles, and new library
- an IKEA (although, I'd prefer that it be further up highway 50 or across from highway 50 if Folsom ever chooses to annex that land)
- an indoor gym for kids (for winters and blistering hot summers)
- eventually we'll all probably need a good hospital, medical facilities, fitness and a rehab center, as we plan on living in Folsom until the end of our days....

That depends, if you grew up with California pizza, then you may not like it..

Boston pizza was good, a lot better than west coast pizza, but nothing that would hit the excellent or superb rankings. Chicago and NY pizza are far better.

Where is Mama Nardi's? I don't recall seeing it around!
