I still think that American Idol should have the fans vote for the worst singer each week.

Believe me, I share your frustration. But I don't think that would work any better. Then you'd have groups thinking it'd be funny to vote off the best singer instead of those who think it's funny to keep around the worst. angry.gif

I think someone else suggested that America should pick the bottom 2 or 3, and then the judges should decide out of that group who should go home. That might work better. But since Sanjaya has yet to be in the bottom 2 or 3, it's obviously still not perfect.

I'm another Jordin & Melinda fan. I think they're both great, and would be happy to see either of them win. I'd give the nod to Jordin if I could, since she hasn't had the years of experience Melinda has, and yet she's still fantastic.

I think Sanjaya should win it all, thus sending this show to the netherworld where it belongs! lmaosmiley.gif

Glad he is gone...
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Hehe. You know what -- he just might! What will it matter though? Whether you win or not, making the top 10 or so, coupled with whether you have real talent, etc., is enough to launch a successful career (Daughtrey and unfortunately, Clay). Ergo, we'll all forget about Sanjaya a few months from now.

Me thinks all of the college supporters he has benefited from in the past were pre-occupied by the events that unfolded at VT and they forgot to vote?? Anyways.....what the heck was Blake doing in the bottom 3? My wife thinks he's batting on the other side of the plate.....hmmmmm.

No it's not. Now it's a boring show with an obvious winner.

It was actually worth watching with Sanjaya in the running!

How ridiculous! Did you see the Sanjaya-like clip on Daily Show? Sr. Legal Analyst was supposed to reporting on the Supreme Court's abortion decision, but were in Hollywood with Sanjaya's weirdest hairstyle (you know the one!). Funny. At least they understand that he's the object of ridicule and not someone who should be attending a correspondent's dinner.

And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.
