Zillow hasn't updated for the sale yet. Maybe one of the realtors can check MLS??

On 5/1 at 2:15pm the house went pending (meaning they had an accepted offer), on 5/2 at 11:24am it fell out of pending and went back on the market. Two minutes later the property was "temporarily off market". And that is how it stands now.

The first Christmas after we moved into Folsom, we found this house while driving the neighborhoods looking at Christmas Lights.

I fell in love with it and told my wife "When this house goes up for sale, we're going to buy it". Of course, we knew nothing of it, just that it was beautiful from the outside.

Well, we were the first people to look at this house when it went on the market a few months back. I doubt anyone would ever touch this house, nor should they.

The smell of drugs and sex permeated the place. There were "beds" on the floor of every room, doors broken off hinges, broken door frames, broken tile, disgusting rooms, drug and sex paraphanalia strewn about. Roy himself showed us around, giving us his version of a tour. All I can say is "ugh". And apparently, what we saw was "90%" cleaned up.

Don't get me wrong, the house is beautiful, or at least it was when it was built. And the theater is amazing. I just wouldn't sit in the chairs if you paid me to do it.

I would guess that the entire house would need to have the sheetrock replaced, and the basement might need even more than that. All carpets, floor and window coverings need replacement. Bathrooms would need to have tile/surfaces replaced as well.

And, even if all that could be done at any reasonable cost, my guess is you would still have to deal with the "visitors" who would pop up at your door for the next 2 years or more.

So much for that "dream".

O, and the hoops we had to jump through just to qualify to VIEW the house would make even the most determined buyers run for the hills. I should have taken that as the first sign smile.gif

Sounds all pretty cosmetic to me. I doubt "drugs and sex" have permeated the sheetrock. A good washing and some fresh paint should suffice.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It's relatively easy to cleanup after sex (may require new upholstery instead of cleaning though), but cleaning meth chemicals out of floors, walls, etc. may not be the easiest feat. I've never tried.

Well at least one woodsmoke dopehead is taken care of for a bit....

The exwife was arrested thursday night for her outstanding warrant for not showing up at RCCC to do her 210 days, but get this she only has to be in until september 21st, basically they reduced her stay.... angry.gif great judicial system we have here in sacramento! 3rd felony count where she has basically snubbed her nose at the judge 4 times in a year and she gets 160 days????

But on a side note she does still have another $10k warrant out of El Dorado county for breaking probation after the home invasion in Placerville.

Im sorry but if it was a man we would never see the light of day.
On a good note, now that I know where she is, she will be served papers revokeing all parental rights ( if the court allows it ) If not changing any visitation to county supervised 2 hours a month that she has to pay for until she shows some maturity and can be trusted around my daughter

well, unfortunately I think the battle has just begun, for you and your daughter. I truly hope you get a fair shake. Have you considered notifying El dorado county of the Ex-s location? Perhaps with her location there; they might be able to extend her visit. You could plead that she needs to be rehab'ed from the drugs. Good luck- may your baby be blessed with a better future.

I saw an Al Roker special on meth. According to the doctor interviewed meth houses, hotel rooms, cars, etc. are toxic environments. They were medically evaluating some poor dude who had respiratory problems because he'd moved into a home 3 days earlier that had been used as a meth cooking home. The acetone and ether apparently don't just float off in the wind.
