I agree....if you're into arrogant condescension. Hey, to each his own.... wink.gif

Geesh, I'm trying to say something nice and I get criticism. I may not agree with everything davburr, mylo, and cv post, but they've all been on this board for quite a while and I'd miss their comments and humor if they left.

Sorry this got sidetracked. Back to the topic.

If Gordon Ramsay were to come to Folsom, which restaurant do you think would most benefit from his talent?

Can you get a good pizza over there?

Does fast food taste exactly the same as it does here?

Is it possible to get a sun tan in England (tanning salons don't count)?

Do guys still ride around on those Vespas with 100 mirrors on them like in Quadrophenia?

No

No, especially soda's.. that's the most noticable.

Tans are possible, but difficult. You have to spend every minute of summer on the southern coast.

Not many vespa's where I'm from, but a lot of great motorcycles that I'm sure Chris V can talk more about. Love them old bikes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Cliff House could *desperately* use Gordon Ramsay to come tear them a new one. It's unfortunate it's corporate owned, because it's unlikely they'd even try. What a squandered opportunity.

Do people have more respect for the police and obeying laws compared to here?

Another England question! It's been 20 years, people!

People are generally just more respectful. They don't require the nanny-state to dictate when they should be nice to anyone.

Most just use common sense about obeying the law. Sure, there's misfits and criminals, but I think they usually consciously decide to disregard the law, compared to the blatant ignorance of the law you see in California and the States.

These are the important questions that haunt the minds of Folsom residents.

If you can't stand the heat, maybe you are part of the problem, not the solution.

And stuff...

Oh, no pizza, and no decent chinese food! Mexican isn't even a thought. But the Indian food is the best in the western world!

I agree. I've emailed their casting department. We'll see. It would be nice to have food and service that matches the view.

You'll see scooters more in the big cities. Or you can come look at my club, we have a lot of scooters and a lot of really cool bikes. Brit bikes are the best.

Military Channel is playing The First World War series again. I've seen 'em before, but it's either this or a recorded copy of Weaponology's episode on the SS.

Oh, and I have an unhealthy obsession with M*A*S*H
