And here I was thinking about how much interest my retirement IRA's are losing and how much my house has gone down in value!
Not to mention the war, illegal immigration, the death toll of the MS13 gangs, the economy and the over all corruption of our government.
What was I thinking????
you were only thinking negatively.... gotta try and focus on lighter, happier things sometimes to keep a good balance in life.
life isn't always a bowl of cherry pits

Here's my prediction for the bottom 3 tonight...
Carly Smithson - still hasn't found the song that "Simon" says would show who she is... she can sing... but she's just not broken out...
Syesha - Did good... again not a break out performance...
Brooke White - As Randy said... "doing that Singer/Songwriter thing" was cool but it didn't do her any favors... I think she would have done better had she had a band back there behind her.... and she's my favorite...
Both Davids... what can you say... I felt the same as Paula when she told David C. that what he sang sounded like something you'd hear as a "Movie theme"... and even said it probably will....
David A... geez can this kid sing... and he's only 17 going on 18... I wonder how he'll play... sounds like he's the heart throb of the 10-15 year old girl crowd....
Jason Castro... dang but he at least takes some chances... and while the song didn't blow me away... I have to agree with Randy... it sounded like something you might hear at a "luau"... you know at a party where the stereo is playing a "cd" of something hip... and Paula said she'd want to go that party...
and finally....Kristy Lee... man I can see why Randy says he'd sign her to a contract... which is what he said on Larry King last week... she really has that new country chic singer sound down don't she... another Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood... Kelli Pickler, Faith Hill... type... Her hair though didn't fit.... she needs that "boofed up country" big hair look and look a little more "trashy"... just a a guy's opinion....
Kristy Lee... I think has broken out and will be in the top 3 behind the Davids....
What do you think....? I sense we could pretty much agree on the above...
Which one would you buy a CD of their stuff if you heard it....?
Give me some "A" game on this one....

I am with you on all the above exactly... I didn't like Kristi Lee but I think she has turned it around. I don't think America will keep her till the end though but she will be just like Kelli Pickler she will get a contract and be at the CMA'S like Kelli winning awards a few years after her idol debut.... Love Love Kelli Picklers new song...
Tired of Jason Castro... Love the Davids...

Bottom 3: Carly, Seyesha, Brooke (doesn't deserve to be in bottom 3)
Seyesha goes home please.

I agree also.
I thought Kristi Lee was awsome last night. I have no idea why Simon didn't like her.
David the little boy bugs me - I don't think he is as imature as he acts
But there is something about Brooke. I really like her voice. I even like listening to her talk. She has a very unique voice.
David Cook was the best last night - but his voice isn't that different than some other guys out there singing.
The Davids will probably make simon the most $$. Brooke is the most unique.

Brooke has an awesome voice, she reminds me of Carly Simon

I like Brooke too... and think she'll be a star.. but she hasn't broken out in a while has she and the competition is getting harder and harder...
Trying to sing some Mariah Carey stuff is pretty hard to do....
but they don't tell you that you must sign it like Mariah.. put your own flavor to it.. which is what David Cook did...
I hope Brooke gets one more chance... but being in the bottom three again is not good for her...
I think it's time for the "tatoo lady" to make an exit....

I think it's just cruel to make them sing Mariah songs. Mariah had an 8-octave range at 18. Freak!

Yea.. but CW.. they didn't have hit those notes.. look at what David C did... he made her songs sound like a rock piece... and he didn't have to go as high as her...
Same with Kristy Lee...

Dial Idol predictions agree w/ EDF having Carly, Brooke and Syesha in the bottom three.
I'd like to see Carly go home... she bugs.

Exactly. That's why Simon said it was refreshing when David Cook did his song and broke away from the Karoke that had been going on most of the night.
