What has it been for the past month? I'm confused now, the only time I remember seeing an A was back in August.

First they had an A rating (that was back in August), then they had a NR because of the complaints. Now they have decided to remove their accreditation (that is the new change). The rating is under review. I expect that their new rating will be posted in a few days.

Any news from anyone??? My mail box is still empty... It's been 10 week since I mailed the voucher and 8 weeks since August 31st.

Oh my how this story just keeps getting better and better. So....I decided to call myfreetravel......again. Because it is fun biggrin.gif

I couldn't get to a supervisor anymore, the operator just sent me to a generic voicemail, so I decided to play with the directory. I remember seeing the owners name "Mr. Steven Horwitz" so just for fun I thought I would leave him a voicemail since no one could tell me the truth and I just wanted to cause trouble.

Guess what! He has quit! His mailbox notice said that he was "no longer with myfreetravel effective Oct 16th to persue other interests."

Wow!! That sucks! I just called to verify and you aren't lying. Anyone else can call too it doesn't have to be business hours.

Thanks for letting us know about that blahdc.

I stand by my prediction of "Myfreetravel will be out of business within 3 months." This is evidence of that.

RDA, does this worry you?

Sent the following message to myfreetravel today. Anyone else check to see if their September or October receipts have been processed yet?

I have recieved no response to my last two emails. I still have not recieved a gift card and I was told on October 15th that it would be a "few days." Please tell me when my gift card was emailed. Also, why has my vouchers and reciepts not been processed from September or October yet (I mailed it September 15th)? The terms and conditions I agreed to say it will be posted witing 5 days on groceryrebate.net (see below). You have now changed your terms and conditions to say 14 days (see below) but it has been 41 days since I mailed September's reciepts and 24 days since I mailed October's.

Terms I agreed to:

14. Within five days of receipt of your monthly submission, we will post the disposition of your receipts on-line. You may check the status of your rebate qualification by logging onto www.groceryrebate.net and clicking on the status button.

New Terms I did not agree to:

13. Within fourteen days of receipt of your monthly submission, we will post the status of your receipts on-line. You may check the status of your certificate qualification by logging onto www.groceryrebate.net and clicking on the status button.
Please respond to this email and answer my questions.

I think it's nice that she spent some of the money helping her brother. Bernie Madoff bought coke and broads. Scammers are getting more legit. Good to see. wacko.gif

For the record: October 27, mail delivered, no card yet. Probably tomorrow.

Speaking with broker I got the following:

1. Horwitz out and Michael Pouls taking over more control of MyFreeTravel.
2. Pouls to invest $1MM (someone clue Blahdc that $1MM = $1 Million)
into redemption and call center upgrades in an effort to Aug/Sep vouchers
out.
3. I am now hearing that the "squeaky wheels" will get the "grease". So keep
calling and bringing heat on them....I know we shouldn't have to but if that's
what we are being told will work WHT....might as well do it.

Even though I got my Visa card from Aug. receipts they disqualified my Sept.
receipts because of draconian terms & conditions (so much for the "rep" getting
favored treatment). Apparently, not only do you have to have $100 in grocery
(edible) items on the receipt but 75% OF that receipt HAS to be edible (you or
your pet) items (excluding alcholol) to qualify. You could send them a receipt
for $10K worth of items with $6k worth of edibles on it and they would DISQUALIFY
that receipt.

That's what they apparently must do to keep the "Breakage" rates where they
need them. Last I heard Oct. 31 was the date for getting the rest of the Aug.
receipts out I don't know if that has changed given the Horwitz departure (I heard
he was "forced" out) and the Pouls "takeover". Stay tuned I will report back
when I get more details.

Which terms and conditions did you agree to when you signed up? Mine are dated "(*FB-090712*)" and they do not say the terms and conditions can be changed without notice. They also say:

12. You must mail and postmark by the last day of the correct month the correctly labeled coupon along with a minimum of $100 in original and legible grocery (human food, pet food & non-alcoholic beverages) sales receipts from the grocery store you selected during the registration process. Each receipt must contain at least 50% food/non-alcoholic beverage for that receipt to qualify. If at least 50% of a specific receipt is not food/non-alcoholic beverages, then that receipt is disqualified. Qualifying receipts include edible human/pet food products and non-alcoholic beverages only.

pretty soon they will disqualify purchases with candy bars, then sodas, then crackers, then any fruit...

That is... If they ever get us our gift cards.

Also, Poul's $1 million won't go very far when the Tampa article (above) says tidewater owed $16.4 million. As we all know BBZ took over nearly all of the tidewater vouchers and MyFreeTravel has taken over nearly all of BBZ's vouchers.

I'll be calling Poul's tomorrow if he is listed in the directory.

If they file for bankruptcy, I will file in small claims the next day. We won't get anywhere near $500 each if it is a class action.

But for those not wanting to go through the hassle of filing in small claims, that's not a bad idea.

Thanks to RDA's continued explanation, I decided to look up Michael Pouls. I'm gonna call KidzIDz tomorrow and ask them why MFT hasn't sent out our visa cards. Customer Loyalty International is the applicable division of Kidz IDz.

The number is (610) 520-2014 in case anyone else wants to call.

Also, just for fun, I decided to see which of the high ups are listed in the phone directory of MyFreeTravel. Since Steve Horwitz is still listed, you would think that the others would be too. The ones with stars by their name are not in the directory. This list came from their BBB report.

I suggest everyone else call... Michael Pouls tells me he will have Mindy Hershorin (Manager of New Business Development) get to the bottom of it and make sure I get my cards.
