cw,

Can I assume you feel that way towards all candidates?

Since I've been through some of these elections for about 17 years, I've learned a few things and after hearing certain candidates preach about this for awhile....I have kept my digital camera around to remind me....I'll try and find that disk.

Sometimes a picture says a 1000 words!

Robert, please give it up. You are not changing my mind and I'm beginning to think you're loopier than me! wink.gif

Hi All,

It is about being informed, hopefully from a source other than Robert, and voting for the person who will best represent your interests. Please call or email me with any questions or if you want to come by my house tonite - election nite- call or email first to get the address. Everyone is invited - except Robert. After all he has said about me on this blog, he had the nerve to ask me to come and pass out candy at his haunted house on Halloween night. Robert is the definition of insincere - Sorry Robert but it is true,

Whatever - just vote!

Kerri

Illegal signs. Miklos is the worst offender this morning. Sometime during the night he, or his campaign, put over 20 signs on the corner of Riley and Blue Ravine and a lot of illegal signs on almost every major corner in the city.

The old fire station on Blue Ravine at Prairie City road there was a lot of signs in there and do not think those were legal either.

Code enforcement will pick them up, after the fact, and give them back to the offenders. No one gets into trouble for it, it seems.

It has to come from the top, he must have told his people to saturate the community this morning.

Guess for next election everyone should do it?????

Maybe he gets an EXCEPTION because he has been mayor so many times....

Kerri,

I'm not surprised with your post.

All along...I have pointed out things you have said and challenged statements you have made. One would think that if one is going serve on the city council that inappropriate comments they make as a council member will be discussed. Its sad that you can't seem to distinguish between having your statements you make or write, challenged as opposed to being personally attacked.

You have tried to discredit me all along by saying I was doing all this for political motives in preparation for me running for city council, implied my motives were evil, brought about innuendos about my personal life, indicated that my motives were to get a seat on a commission, said I lacked intestional fortitude and despite all this I still invited you over to my house to join all the candidates in passing out candy to the children at the haunted house. Now you claim I am the definition of insincere. Kerri I refuse to get into a name calling personal attack contest with you....you can call me anything you choose. I recognize this is your attempt to make it personal rather issue based.

If you are fortunate enough to get relected, I would hope that you would spend as much energy trying build coalitions and consensus as you have in trying to discredit me. If you were elected, it would be a shame that 4 years from now, that another innocent 16 year old, would look at your web site and your literature and come to the conclusion that you haven't accomplished anything....AGAIN.

Why wouldn't code enforcement give all candidates 24-48 hours to pick their own up ?

Well, so far it looks like Morin saved a boat-load on all those signs!

Folsom-City Council-3 Seats
12% Precincts Reporting

Miklos 3,758 29%
Morin 3,665 28%
Howell 3,255 25%
Gordon 2,469 19%

Check out Tom McClintock too!

Check it out where? I've been watching the for a while (McClintock scares me) and have found differing results.

Sac Bee has it as:

McClintock, Tom 48.4%
Garamendi, John 46.4%
w/ 9721 of 25090 precincts reporting

but, the Sac County site has:
(WITH 757 OF 970 PRECINCTS COUNTED 78.04%)
JOHN GARAMENDI (DEM). . . . . . . 84,588 47.95
TOM MCCLINTOCK (REP). . . . . . . 81,594 46.25

Sad to wake up and see McClintock on the loss side. SF had a 40% voter turnout.
"Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident, teachers' unions have a long history of working against the interests of children in the name of job security for adults. And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.
