I think they got it right. I thought Carly would have been the one to go tonight, but she wasn't even in the bottom 3.

I had her in the bottom 3 in place of Brooke. I really like Brooke and hope she stays around for awhile longer. Maybe the remaining Cook to win??

Poor Brooke that was very sad to watch... Jason wasn't too good either but the David's rocked tonight. I loved them both. Karly sounds like she is screaming all the time. Seyesha was good.

If Brooke doesn't go then it will be Jason Castro tomorrow.

My little sister was so lucky she got tickets and was able to attend tonights taping she called me and said it was fantastic... She is so lucky I am jealous

I agree that Brooke will be lucky to get by this performance...

I think she really is great but got nervous and forgot the words... and as Randy and Simon said... she did the right thing.. and I thought Simon was right that Brooke did sound kind of tense because she had blown it in the beginning...

Jason.. ? I think he'll be the one out unless all the little 12 and 13 yr olds call in

You know though... I wasn't that impressed with Carly Smithson either... she could be in the bottom 3 too....

It's a 2 guy show now. The girls and Castro are too inconsistent. And since David Cook has a better chance at making more $$ if he loses he'll probably throw the last show and let the munchkin win.

Tonight's performance rankings:

David Cook - rocker did a great job with a genre he isn't accustomed to
David Archuleta - performed well
Syesha - she seemed like a polished pro tonight - look for her on Broadway
Carly Smithson - good but occasionally shouty performance
Jason Catro - dreadhead seems to be channeling Jonathan Richman and Tiny Tim - his one note act was fully exposed tonight
Brooke - even the slim-witted Paula knew enough to say 'you never start then stop'. That was a disastrous performance.

Having said all of that, I am thinking that Syesha will be the one to go tomorrow. She just doesn't seem to have the pop following of the others.

I hope you are wrong. I am hoping Jason Catro will go home. Listening to him last night was painful. I still like Brooke but she blew it last night. Syesha was in her element and I think she should get at least another week for her performance.

que the twilight zone theme...

I completely agree with you again. Its a 2 guy show now.. the David's

Cook really cooked - his performance made me feel like I was watching a real Andrew Loyd Webber play live, he was that good - the others were less effective. That guy is by far the best singer/musician on the show

Archuletta continues to bore me - I buy lots of music but there is nothing he's sung that I would ever go buy - maybe when I hit my 70's.... but his sound is way too old for his age and I don't think his teeny bopper fan club would ever buy any CD he makes

Carly did pretty good, that was (to me) her best performance, that song suited her well

as much as I like Jason's sound, I didn't like that song he picked and I think his time on the show will end soon

The others didn't do that great (IMO) and I predict its going to be either Brooke, Jason or Sayesha to go this time

You could file Archuletta right next to Akin - don't they deserve to be together?

I, too, thought that David Cook was outstanding, and that Carly turned in her best performance yet.
Syesha wasn't horrible, but I found the rest of the performances painful.
My money is on Brooke to go home tonight.

I've been picking Brooke to go home for the last 3 weeks, including last night.....sooner or later I'll get it right.

I loved what David Cook did.....and I also really liked David Archuleta's version of Think of Me. I don't think either of them are going anywhere till the finale.

My second choice to leave would be Jason......
I assume full responsibility for my actions, except the ones that are someone else's fault.

It was a shocker to me since Carly did so very well last night. I guess it was because voters don't want Irish Idol. Jason to go next week.

Brooke is far more talented than Carly, Syesha, and Jason but she seems to not have the right strategy to win, especially if she forgets the lyrics 3 months into the show. We all know who the next 3 voted off will be so it's pretty un-inspring until the end now.
