Folsom Cordova email is down. No one trying to vote right now can validate their vote.

Thank you Folsom for your support in the Samsung contest! If we had to lose to a school, Schoharie is an amazing school to lose too. Best wishes to them! :-)

I am very familiar with Schoharie School District and I would like to extend some goodwill from Schoharie to Sutter. I know that both schools share a sincere interest in the future of their children and want their school to benefit from the technology offered in the Samsung prize award.

The reason I am posting this is to extend the "olive branch" from east to west.

We just want our kids to be recognized for the monumental job they accomplished in helping our community solve an environmental problem, yes, for tomorrow. If we win we will be honored, if we don’t we will congratulate the worthy winners. Best Wishes to Sutter.

Congratulations to the community of Scholarie for pulling together & apparently winning the popular vote.
You all rock!!! :cheer:

And boycott Armstrong and Getty on 650am in the morning. Despite numerous pleas for them to spend 10-15 seconds and merely mention the contest, they refused and instead chose to completely ignore us, showing they have no interest in supporting the communities that support them.

You can vote with the ballot and with your dollars, but also with your eyes and ears. I've been listening to them for 12+ years, but they turn their backs on us, we must turn our backs on them. Spread the word!

I've a whole list of the same but am reluctant to black list them all, I'm sure they must have their reason. But, please enlighten me, why is it so. Really, is it that much to ask a station to say "remember, please Google Sutter Middle School and vote daily till Monday the 12th"?

I couldn't agree more. As I watched the coverage of the one year anniversary of the Japan tsunami and just how much destruction they faced, I couldn't help but think of Scholarie and how much and how long they will be recovering. I truly wish them well.

So I guess in the twilight of the contest; mother nature beat out Schwarzenegger after all.

Kinda funny, really.

Mother nature vs. Mr. Universe.

I knew there was something to that whole feminist movement thing.....Posted Image

Where did you see that ? I tried to find it but could not...

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.
