Means nothing.......   The CEO's are getting pressured by the very far left, the fringe left which presents very loud and influencing but is just 2 percent of the population at most, just very loud, very vocal, and very violent, they make the news who actually are themselves in the news......   The leftist "reporters" are everywhere.....  They, the left, will break your windows of every branch office and occupy your buildings...!   This is their threat, and they will not be punished by the liberlal, democratic, leftist MSM and far left democratic mayors of every town.    Just wait until 180 middle schoolers are killed dead somewhere in the USA by 3 to 7 jihadi leftists,  somalies, wahabis, whatever form of islamist intolerant's that they are....  Nebraska, Oklahoma, Idaho, Missouri.......   Our "Beslan" is waiting for us, and in spades...!  Only then will you realize what you really need to be against.  Not your President.....!  Wake up....!   Barcelona should shake you up today....!   Yes...!   Wake up lefties...!   Chris

What Chris said.

Thanks Joe.........   So sad that they don't listen to us, those who know history, study it, study it back to 4000 years and more.......   I see so many parallels, so many of the same mistakes.........   Those on the left do not look far enough back in history, they do not learn, they see the "now" and not the past.  They will live to repeat the mistakes of the past, and in spades...!   Thus the second cultural revolution of China under Mao, the lefties are starting this last two years............   First take down the statues, cleanse history, the history you disagree with.........   And after the statues are all taken down, you go after the people, their homes, their kids, their families and eliminate them, as in dead and buried in mass graves, the ones who do not agree with you......   This is the history of the left, Mao, Stalin, even the national socialist Hilter, Pol Pot............!   Wake up folks, you are on the wrong side of history.  It's all there for you to see....!  If you all read more books you would know what I am talking about.   Chris

Art of the Deal' Ghostwriter Thinks President Trump Will Resign Before the End of the Year

http://time.com/4906...r-trump-resign/

The ghostwriter of Donald Trump's famous memoir The Art of the Deal doubled down on his prediction that Trump will resign the presidency before the end of the year."The snowball is beginning to gather momentum as it comes down the mountain," Tony Schwartz told Anderson Cooper

"It reminds me a lot of Watergate and the last days of Nixon... He's put himself in an isolated, no-win position. The level of his destructiveness is staggering."

CEO's have a fiduciary responsibility to provide products and services to their customers and increasing value to their share holders.  The have no other obligations.  They don't listen to politicians, they don't listen to the president, they don't listen to the media.  They only respond to their customers and shareholders.  These are people who tell CEO's what to do.  So if they bailed out of these presidential councils, it's because they were told to do it by customers and shareholders.  So it appears corporate America is starting to gain some social values.  A good thing.

Crazy report for August 20 -

I would love to hear a rational argument as to why the current state of affairs has any resemblance to "Make America Great Again".  From what I can tell, our current condition and the "hat slogan" are mutually exclusive at this point.

Crazy continues.

Now the Turnip wants to send our kids to a protracted war in Afghanistan!

Would you let your child go there?

Glad to see the rules of engagement have changed to actually fighting a war rather than winning hearts and minds. Read a book or two about Afghanistan. GW's and Obama's strategies were foolhardy at best.

The bottom line on Afghanistan is that it is a no win. We pull out and the taliban/isis crowd gets a ready made training ground with easy access to a sympathetic Pakistan (which has nukes). Best bet is to stay there as a stabilizing strike force. The Afghanis have no desire for a western democracy, they are far too tribal. Why we don't obliterate their poppy fields is beyond me.  Unfortunately, our "friends" in Pakistan harbor terrorists and have cozied up to China. Meanwhile, the Russians are supplying the Taliban with weapons.

What would YOU have us do Mr Enlightened Progressive?

Sound like imperialism to me.
Yeah, that'll work. US as the eternal policeman of the world.
What could possibly go wrong?!

Except Mussolini KILLED political opponents, was a member of the press,  formed his own party, and wanted to delay getting into the war. But hey, facts are irrelevant to progressives, so party on dude....

There's a good reason Afghanistan is called the "Graveyard of Empires".    Outsiders have been trying to control the area for dozens of centuries, and all have failed.  What new does the USA bring to the party?  Nothing, and we will be doomed to the same fate.

Like I said, a no win. Still, with Pakistan and Iran being proximal and sympathizing with the "bad guys," it's probably our only chance to  A) have a presence in the area, B) have any chance at all to mitigate the radical Islam ideology in the area, and C) have the slightest chance of preventing Pakistani nukes from getting into the hands of rogue actors.

Big Surprise!

Sorry, Trump supporters: The White House clearly isn’t going to make Mexico pay for that wall

https://www.washingt...m=.feb13c428d48

The White House isn't even pretending that Mexico is going to pay for that wall anymore.

With President Trump threatening to shut down the government over Congress funding the wall, reporters pressed White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday about why Trump would insist upon Congress funding something that Mexico was supposed to be paying for — something Trump promised at dozens and dozens of campaign rallies to the delight of his crowds.

Oh wait! Doesn't that make tRump a LIAR!?

Crazy report for August 29 -

The genealogy of the "wall":

Before the election - "I'm going to build the wall and make Mexico pay for it"

After the election - "I'm going to build the wall and pay for it with tariffs on Mexican goods" (a stealthy way to get Americans to pay for it).

Today - "I'm going to build the wall and I will shut down the government unless congress authorizes the money to pay for it".

Then you ask why there is no outrage at the horrible inconsistencies emanating from the White House.  The reason is people have simply stopped listening.  They know it's all BS, and are now bored.
