Look on the bright side...increased traffic to the point of gridlock would at least keep alot of the wreckless idiots from doing 75+ MPH on the roadways...hey, I'm just trying to find a positive in this...

FedCorp and others have talked to Einstein/Noahs and they have not been interested so far...that's what I hear.  UNLESS someone wants to call them and buy a franachise!

I'd love to see:

ha! yeah, i looked up at Folsom Comm. College the other day and thought "man, it's sad the high school is bigger than the CC!".....

i'll also vote for a Noah's or Bruegger's bagels around here. That'd be nice. Also, there's a great bagel shop in Davis called "Posh Bagel" that has the best I've ever had anywhere! Oh, and it's easy to forget the Main Street Bagel shop on Riley (near Kinko's, across from Aquatic Center) !!!

Interesting... after I sent that post I was thinking about u using Sophia Parkway (it's Empire Ranch Road BTW)... since just that morning I had gone for a bike ride down Empire Ranch Road myself, and been irritated by how many of u short cut takers were already using it... LOL

I guess I’m a short cut taker since I just used it to go to Costco. I’m not sure if you’re serious or just being facetious but if people driving cars on the roads irritate you maybe you should stick to the trails.

It was just accredited in January. Check it out in the Fall when the new cafeteria, performing arts center (will draw big names/shows too), classrooms and administrative offices open up.

Whole Foods... they have the best selection of cheeses to go with my wine

Pete's Original Pizza... Rocklin is just way too far to drive. Best pizza I have ever had!

PF Changs... but I'll take the Fats as a great substitute!

Panera Bread... there is finally one in Sacramento... now just move one here as well!

I am sure I could think of a lot more things... but for now this is my wish list.

When I used to live near Sac State... I would love to go down to the midtown Pete's. Great atmosphere on top of the best pizza. I think I would single-handedly keep one open for business in Folsom.

We need a place that serves authentic Gelatto. Then people could know what REAL ice cream tastes like.

And of course an In-N-Out...

How about one of these restaurants?

A family eats at a toilet-themed restaurant in southern Taiwan city of Kaohsiung June 29, 2005. The Martun, or toilet in Chinese, restaurant in Kaohsiung boasts lengthy queues on weekends as diners wait for a toilet seat in its brightly colored tile interior. We need a Brazilian BBQ. I forget the name of the place I went to in Chicago, but it's manna from heaven for someone on a low-card or no-card diet.

Yes, that's it. I loved it, but it might be too pricey for this market. Then again, Sac as a whole is considered a meat town.

The reviews all said the food was "crappy"! I guess they must serve the take out in a bed pan.
