it's a possibility with the closure of It's a Grind. I do not know any information on Broadstone Marketplace however.

Coffee Republic replaced It's a Grind.

Eric, do you have any info about "Cruisers Coffee"?

Oh, then I would say it's a no for Broadstone Marketplace as well. And no I don't have any information on Cruisers. My guess it's a new local startup. I working on getting an update on Palladio in general today, I'll see if I can report on some more stores.

Still waiting on an update from Palladio.

I just got the most recent update from the Galleria and I can tell you that it seems as Williams Sonoma is more focused on Roseville right now with their West Elm, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and Williams-Sonoma stores there. They are expanding their Williams-Sonoma store as part of the rebuilding of the Galleria.

I can also now fully confirm that Buckhorn Grill is going to the Galleria's Dining Terrace, it will be the same concept that's used at Westfield's San Francisco Centre.

The Galleria is doing another MAJOR reshuffling of tenants throughout their center (the old, the new, and the rebuild) in order to accommodate the new retail concepts to the region. I was shocked how many retailers are moving around due to this rebuild.

Palladio is an odd concept-bad parking, and there are only 4 stores open-sushi, pinkberry, johnny rocket and the theater. They should have done a partial closed section for anchor stores with more parking. Most people in Folsom do not shop at the small boutique shops and by the looks of the high biz closures I don't know why Palladio doesn't stick with the basics. You need a JCP, Macy's or Nordstroms and then consider other stores such as Hollister, 21, and H&M. Without these popular stores, Folsomites will still go to the Roseville mall to get their kids' school clothes. Also, they should think about having some stores that cater to entertaining the kids-maybe a themed type jump place or ceramics or sports store. I noticed in Roseville, where the MCCormick and Schmidt restaurant shopping center is, that it seems disjointed and you don't see many customers except at the coffee shop, the restaurants and Whole Foods. All the other stores have one or two lookie loos and I don't see how the occupants afford the rent to even have a store. This is why Palladio is having issues. Johnny Rockets sounds good, but the food is worse than any junk food restaurant around. Folsomites wouldn't mind paying for a decent restaurant that had quality food. They should have put in a chic -fil-a or something more suitable. Also, an ice cream parlor for bdays would be nice, like the old Swensen's. Just my two cents.

BTW, The Folsom Food Bank almost ran out of food last month and this is more telling about our community and a wake up call that our town needs more high end employers such as Intel, than low paying, low skilled retail jobs just for the sake of having them. So many middle class families are suffering b/c they are trying to hold onto their homes and cars and run out of food by the end of the month. They don't qualify for food stamps or assistance, so they are the silent victims of this economy. They don't complain b/c of embarrassment and pride. I see this everyday. Families that would never have needed help, but b/c of unemployment and bad home loans can't feed their families. I think the Palladio is smart to not open everything at once b/c they know the economy is getting worse.

Are you trying to say that the lights are on but no one is yet home? ;)

I wonder if they're ahead of schedule (currently slated for October). Maybe Whole will do at least a soft opening in September. :D:

Looking forward to Whole Foods. I've never been to their Roseville location but I've always enjoyed their seafood and poultry selections at their Cupertino store.

That being said, if only it were possible for one store (or even just two) to meet all my food needs -- today, it's Raley's for xx, Nugget for yy, Oto's for zz, Whole Foods for aa, Ranch 99 for bb, Costco for cc .....

I'd be okay if everything were at least in one shopping plaza. Or maybe the same city.....

Bright side: since I don't use Kaiser or go to movie theaters, Whole Foods will be my first reason to patronize the Palladio. Yea, finally a reason to go check it out.

If you like yogurt, try Pinkberry. Great place.

And yes I too am looking forward to Whole Foods opening.
