I cannot wait! There's a fabulous palladio in in Kansas City (Zona Rosa) I frequent, but the store listing I've seen for Folsom is MUCH better. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Palladio has about 20 stores with signed leases and the rest are still letters of intent or in negotiating stages of signing letters of intent, so I would expect an announcement soon, but I'm not sure what their plans are.

Palladio is not an affiliation, but rather an architectural style, named after the Italian architect.

I have been to Zona Rosa a couple times... when on travel for work in KC. That area has seen quite a bit of development since I first went there... when that mall area was just a field.
They did a really good job in making it very pedestrian friendly... and they have a good mix of restaurants and shops.

I always joke with my KC co-workers that it is not, in fact, the City of Fountains, but rather the City of Detours! I've never seen so much construction and development. It's good, though, especially downtown, which had/has some really bleak areas. My favorite place in KC for shopping and restaurants is still The Plaza - if you've never been, make a point of going next time you're there.

I really like the Plaza area... the city did a great job with it! I have been numerous times... and make a point of getting there each time for travel. Again... another great mix of shopping and dining (casual and upscale). I wish Sacramento could some how mimic the Plaza in Sacramento (possibly in the railyards). That would definitely draw people.
Do you remember the name of the part of town (I think just north of the Plaza) where a lot of the bars are located? It seemed like a popular place for young people to hang out... and we had a great time there!

AND.... the horse-drawn carriages, and the horses hooves are covered in Swarovsky crystals. It's about as festive as anything I've ever seen. If you stay at the Intercontinental (used to be the Fairmont) it's quite a spectacular view.

Ok I was just making sure you were aware of that. It almost sounded like you were linking the name "palladio" to this one and thinking that they were going to be the same or something. Just a little miscommunication...no worries
