Thanks, but I prefer a Yogurt Hut treat. ohmy.gif

Happy Hour at the hut is Mon-Thursday, from 4:30 - 6:30 I think. Buy one, get one free.

So today I go to my mail box and... I'm not joking... I have a visa card from MFT for $35. So I get very happy that they finally sent me something. I realize I have to activate the card. Call the number for that, and it just rings and rings and rings and rings.

Damn!!

Also, the instructions say that you will have to activate the visa with the last 4 digits of your phone number. Not this card though... It has it's own 4 digit activation code. This is exactly what BBZ did. Sent nothing until you complained a lot, then finally sent you 1 or 2 cards (again with their own activation number; not the last four of your phone as it was supposed to be). Then they went out of business.

SacDJ, you are not vindicated... This is still a scam...

Gave it some time and called again. I got the card activated. We'll see if I can spend the money on it.

The card is only 6 weeks late (my Terms and Conditions said I would receive the card 4-6 weeks after I sent it and it's been 12).

My next card is already 2 weeks late...

A scam doesn't send you a $35.00 visa card. I'm hoping to get mine tomorrow.

Hey look, another post with no edits. I guess that education thing works.....

If they were legitimate, it wouldn't have taken 10 phone calls and 5 emails to get the first card. And it wouldn't have arrived 6 weeks late. Since you haven't complained as much as me, I bet you don't get yours any time soon...

Where was the card postmarked from and when was it sent? If you still have that information...

If it's going to take all of that work for each $35 card - it is not, in my opinion, worth the effort. Might not technically be a "scam" - but it certainly looks like a war of attrition . . .

Postmarked from 60435 (JOLIET, IL) on Friday October 30th. That's when I called last. I talked to someone named Patrick and he told me he would write my name down. That of course shows that it wasn't going to be mailed except for the fact that I called.

The main MFT number. Patrick was just a customer service person...
