My goodness then... I must have seen LITERALLY 100 signs on Saturday morning.... easily!
I guess it's easier to get forgiveness then permission?

Absolutely, but it sure doesn't make it right.
I would think for all the work to which the leader of this garage sale went, he would have checked out the rules. The City of Folsom produces a little brochure regarding garage sales, and it was posted just recently here on this forum. It includes the requirements for sign permits if other than those permitted on private property of the holder of the garage sale.
Or maybe he did know the rules, but chose to ignore them. Please tell me this is not the case.

I don't have a problem with garage sale signs when they are going on but the minute the sale's over, part of cleaning up from the sale is taking the signs down. Otherwise that is downright rude and disrespectful to your neighbors IMHO.

I noticed that some of the signs were not off. If I see the organizer I will try to say something or even arrest the dude......
