A former co-worker loved to tell the story of his uncle who served in the Navy during WWII. He got a battleship tattooed on his chest. The problem is he loved to drink, smoke and eat poorly. Needless to say, he got his chest cracked open for bypass surgery. When the doctor sewed him back up, he didn't quite line-up to two sides, and the battleship was a bit shorter. Being from Arkansas, the uncle didn't really pay much attention to the directions of the doctor. When the uncle finally died, he managed to have several more surgeries. His once majestic battleship looked more like a tugboat, and no, the sides never did match up again.
