And I am surprised that Jessica didn't just burst into tears on the spot, really.

Me? I don't like Sugar! I don't like her and didn't miss her at all, no matter what she tells you.

Jesse was so sad, too, at our house as well and Sugar was so overjoyed to see him when you came back to pick her up. You do like her and you missed her, no matter what you tell us. I'm glad you're keeping her and like Sat said, you've got a doggy babysitter anytime. Also, you know I'll walk her whenever to keep her a happy dog. OK, that, and we just like to hang out with her!

He was pretty mopey at sat's though. And I will definitely take you both up on the dog-sitting offers!

Wow. Now I'm really triply glad that we didn't get rid of Sugar. Our house almost just got broken into.

She was barking and we closed the slider in the bedroom so she'd quit hearing whatever it was that was spooking her.

Five minutes later, she is going crazy down the hall. My husband goes to check things out and the front door is partially cracked and there's some dude in the bushes by our cars. He took off running when my husband came out with Sugar.

(Sugar actually tried to chase him down. Thankfully Jesse didn't let her.)

We called 911, but the cops were already out here, as another neighbor had called. Thanks to whomever beat us to the punch.

Damn jackhole. "Probably came in on light rail. I moved to Folsom to get away from this!"

Oh, she's my new best friend! I have been loving and loving on her. I almost let her sleep in our bed last night, but I couldn't go that far. I was/am extremely grateful for her. She did a good job last night.

I always have thought dogs are the best alarm systems. My two would not harm a fly, but they bark like they could. My little seven pound dog would probably keep any burglers away by just his barking.
