Oooh.. gotta try that El Dorado Hills place. I think there would be some demand later at night if the coffee places did something to draw people in like open mic night, live musicians -- could be mellow enough to enhance conversation.
We tried the Purple Place and LOVED it. In a pinch, I guess we could go there. It's not exactly a coffee house, but it had a cool atmosphere. After 9:30, it got loud. THat's okay, but not for conversation. We enjoyed it.

If I am not mistaken, I think It's A Grind on Folsom at Blue Ravine Road stays open until 10. Check first in case I am wrong.

Actually, I thought maybe they'd be open since they sometimes do those open mic nights. I checked the web site and there was no info on operating hours by location. They really should post that info. Oh well.

But does it taste like...coffee???
No, one thing I gotta say about IHOP. Their coffee is bland and boring. Actually unusual in a society where there are now so many types of coffee that it sucks trying to make a choice. (OMG did I actually say that?)
However, I really think that if IHOP is on a roll--which they seem to be with those yummy stuffed strawberry thingy-ma-bobbers; then if they were to add a decent latte---ohhhhhhhh, yum.
Did you know that you can order IHOP to go? I didn't know that until recently. One of my coworkers is an IHOP nut. She'll eat there anytime--day or night.
Recently I had to work night shifts. You think Folsom is bad with the availability of services at night--you should check out the Rancho area. Geez--it stinks.

And as my dad's wife would say...Starbucks is unnecessary. People should just drink Folgers.
She also feels that any jam/jelly other than strawberry and grape are unnecessary. Hmmm.

Folgers is proof that the Devil exists

Maybe this should go in the "Do you believe in God" thread

The Starbucks in the Broadstone plaza is open til 10pm on Fri/Sat.
I agree that Folsom needs a later coffeehouse! Borders is always busy up until closing time!

The whole of life is but a moment of time. It is our duty, therefore to use it, not to misuse it.
