The Big Lebowski was mentioned. I noticed because I had such high expectations for that movie and thought it stunk! So bummed.

Forgot to mention Robert's "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest." Excellent movie!
Also forgot "Dodgeball." It's one of the few recent dumb comedies that I thought was really good.

ResLady, no, I haven't seen it, but have always wanted to. Every night is busy this week, so I don't think I'll get to it until next week, grrr.

Well, just about any Bill Murray comedy has to be on the list, especially Caddyshack, Stripes and Groundhog Day. Don't forget the original Meatballs.

Godfather 1 & II
Goodfellas
Bridge on the River Kwai
Gladiator
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Animal House
History of the World
Blazing Saddles

Here's a comedy no one has mentioned: Slap Shot

The Exorcist
Unforgiven
Predator (I aint got time to bleed- Jesse Ventura)

Following up on The Big Lebowski, how about Kingpin? Bill Murray kills in that one, too.
In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, 'Au revoir, gopher'.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
