Tomorrow at 1pm Kyle Dayton will be laid to rest at Green Valley Cemetary in Cameron Park. Services will be held at the Chapel.
This evening there will be a candle light vigil at his old highschool--the time I am unsure of.
For those who would like to particpate there is a honor guard (motorcycles) who will accompany his trip.

Whatever happened with this family?
BTW, it would be better in the future to put these things on one of the larger categories since I think they tend to get overlooked on the neighborhood boards. I would hate to think that those serving our country would get overlooked.

His family ended up asking for peace and privacy.
For those who donated groceries and goods--they were received warmly--but I have not furthered the bank trust thing.
I think that the family has a lot of things to sort through, right now.

The spouse and minor child are eligible for Social Security Survivor Benefits. I'm sure they've already been advised of this.

Most, if not all soldiers, have fat life insurance policies.....SGLI I believe it was......his wife will get a decent check, but I don't think all of the money in the world would be worth going through that.......
