lately I've been cycling through some of my strategy games like Rise of Nations (love the Conquer the World campaign) and Kohan (very good fantasy strat game).
on XBox, Halo is always a good time, finished Knights of the Old Republic (great storyline - Lucas should have hired these guys to write his last two screenplays). Looking forward to Thief 3 next.
So, Call of Duty is as good as they say? I really liked Medal of Honor and its expansions, so I assumed CoD would be pretty cool.

They announced a new release date for Doom3: August 3. This year. :-)
Original UT, eh? That was released in 1999, you realize. Get in the 21st century! ;-)

I'm waiting for the Wii lightsabers!
My son is into Runescape (so yeah, I actually understand what the post above yours refers to somewhat). I was concerned that it would be just thumb exercise for my son, but whatever - he has friends whose parents I trust who play the game too, so we thought we'd give it a whirl.
Anyway, what's funny is he'll tell me stuff like "Did you know that if you mix tin with copper you get bronze?" or he'll describe in perfect detail how to build a canoe or that planting marigolds keeps pests out of your crops (dunno if that's true or not), and I'll ask him how he knows that stuff, and he'll say "Runescape". So it's actually pretty educational, especially if you plan to do any time traveling to the Middle Ages.
So I guess I'll let him keep playing it, since I never know when I'll need him to help me do some canoe building or bronze casting.

Of course, Jesse and I just died, so now our son is wandering around mourning all the time. He's getting close to elderly, so I think I'll let him die off and then be done with it. It's fun, but it is really one of those games that you can't just play a "quck game" of.
Also, Diner Dash 2. I love that game
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

You hit a little blip on your screen with a bar of light and it bounces across the screen where another bar hits it back. What will they think of next?
