I want to attend this event but it was toooooooooo late.  We need a more organized way of distributing and obtaining info such as these.  Darn!!

Hello neighbors! You may wonder why I'm replying to a message from 2003. I'm Dave Jenest of Patriotwatch.com and your forum message came up in Google. After reading your message, I wanted to be sure you all got the word about this Saturday's tribute to our veterans at the state capitol.

Go here for details.

Those who get up early and would like to help, setup activies begin at 7:30 a.m. on the west steps. Many of the brave men and women we will honer are in their twilight years (75-85 years old) and even the work of setting up 250 chairs can be tasking. For those who would just like to attend the ceremony, it begins at 10:00 am. If you leave you first name and RSVP at the Purple Heart website's guestbook, we'll have a special nametag for you.

I enjoy anything creative, artistic and thought provoking. Music ranges from Andrea Boccelli to some hiphop groups. I enjoy dancing, singing and life in general. Former U.S. Marine - pretty conservative in my opinions but always open to listening to what others have to say.

Hey, Patriot.

Too bad you didn't post this info earlier. I would have definitely wanted to be there but I just saw it. You will find Folsom has a huge veteran community. Next time an event comes up, please post at least a week or two in advance so we can make plans or reschedule plans to help out.

I think it is great that you are doing this for our guys.
