Well I'm a Lions fan, and it's the end of September, so I'm already looking ahead to the draft.

You should have a high draft pick, but Millen will squander it, unless he gets fired.

One of the radio guys from SF said that Millen is the worst GM in the history of Professional Sports (worse than Isaiah?), and that he should not be allowed on the team bus back to the airport.

He noted that Millen fired Martz last year, and cut JTO, who came back to kick his team's arse.

Well, the Steelers are looking good for now.....but with that JV o-line they threw against Philly last weekend, Big Ben will be hurt in no time and then the Steelers can also start to look forward to the draft.............

HA! Millen is out! Finally this team can start to rebuild. We should be used to it, we've been rebuilding since 1957.

One theory on why Clay Ford Sr has allowed the team to suck for so long is that he's always held a grudge against the UAW and their hold on the auto industry for so long so he figured that he'd get back at the working man by making him suffer on his Sunday off by watching a perpetual horrid team every weekend. All in all it makes perfect sense to me!

On another note, the 49ers are officially in the middle of the pack when it comes to tough schedules, but aside from their own division games, they've got some talented teams to play against.

Sep 28 @ New Orleans
Oct 5 New England
Oct 12 Philadelphia
Oct 19 @ N.Y. Giants
Nov 23 @ Dallas
Nov 30 @ Buffalo
Dec 7 N.Y. Jets
Dec 28 Washington

At least 5 possible losses there. Maybe more if NYJ and NE get it together.

If they beat half of those guys, I'll be thrilled.

I'm a Panthers fan.

Not a 49ers fan.

However, I see promise in this 49ers team. I'll call the games.

Amazing game. What really got me was the size of the USC players vs the Oregon State guys. They looked like men vs boys out there. Glad USC got brought down a notch, I'm sick of hearing how great they are (were)!

So far, a wild and crazy season.

Major players getting injured; Brady, Merriman, Umenyiora

Top teams getting off to poor starts; Patriots (they're supposed to be good because of their SYSTEM), Chargers (yes, they got burned, and yes, they looked great last night)

Surprise division leaders; Buffalo, Tennessee, San Francisco

I know it's too early to talk about who's going to do what, but I get all excited and goose-bumpy at this time of year.

What's your favorite NFL story this year?

I thinks the biggest surprise last week was the Dolphins HAMMERING the pats. Go fins!

Another fun weekend of football!

The Niners disappointed, with no pass rush on defense and when on offense, too many deed drops instead of the little slants and screens Martz is famous form. I'm originally from New Orleans though, so if they're gonna get beat, I'd rather it be the Saints.

Also, a week after people were suggesting Brett Favre was washed up and should have stayed retired, he throws for 6 tuchdowns, including at least one rocket of a throw that must have hurt to catch.

Washington upsets Dallas, and the Chiefs smacked up on the Broncos.

Then the Raiders...

I'm lovin' it.

Raiders should have won. Their defense sucks.

49ers game blew.

My panthers won again so I'm happy.
