Funny you say that.
My wife works in EDH, and she has finally given up on that exit as well. She now goes to Prairie City, then has to backtrack to Broadstone....but it's faster when traffic is backed-up onto the freeway.
They need to re-work that entire Bidwell exit quagmire and the Bidwell/Iron Point intersection because it will get worse real quick, which is unimagineable.

That would make perfect sense.
CC Myers could have that up and running by Monday.

almost all of Bidwell is a huge quagmire with way too much traffic - its the worse road in town traffic wise
and the absolute worse intersection in the entire town is Riley and Natoma

no doubt, its fun doing 3mph going up Riley next to Sutter St on a motorcycle while trying to keep the bike up right in stop and go traffic that backs up due to the bottleneck of people turning left onto Natomas

and they call that progress. you can thank our city council and planning dept for the wonderful traffic pattern we have in Folsom. Remember, the city is driven by revenue from taxes and building permits. what do you expect.

What would be your suggestion for funding the city?

Yes, cities need funding, but they also need proper, prudent planning.
Folsom was allowed to grow so fast, that it seems planning took a back seat.
Now we're paying the price for that, and trying to play catch-up, it seems.
Just my 2-cents.

It was like that all afternoon (from 11:00 on) for the last few days). I was laughing at one of my coworkers because he thinks he is going to Costco and back during his lunch hour today.

For the last two weeks i've wanted to make up a sign that said "I killed a pedestrian in the Costco parking lot, but I got to the red light at Iron Point a few seconds faster than anyone else!!!"
When Costco was too busy to even get into, we went to Sams Club. Hardly anyone there. But they only had two registers open, so we still got to wait in a long line to check out. Only one guy tried to run over my feet to get by without having to wait for me to walk across.

why even try on a bike, it is so easy to just take a small detour and go around the mess.
Wool St is my friend, it has been for many years, even in a car.

Ha, I agree. I think I will avoid the Folsom In-n-Out until the mania dies down a bit.
